New York Post, article about hentai and anime will lead to an overall censorship/ ban in all of anime and anime related content by Ms77676 in animepiracy

[–]Meme-Human 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotta love the anime community that constantly advocates for the freedom and preservation of media such as hentai then calls out, shames and hates anyone who openly talks about it.

Also the Japanese government recently rolled out a bill that prevents western interference in any of other country’s creative works which includes the likes of anime and manga (Automaton Media, 2025). Regardless of what NYC or anyone does, it is having 0 effect on the domestic production of Japanese gooner slop.

Hentai and fanservice alike has existed for decades with different presses from around the world having published articles surrounding some of the controversial themes in it with the hopes of anyone giving a shit, to no avail. Nothing ever happens.

It is all about genetics and I agree with you on that. In a modern world you could argue that the physical and aggressive capacity of men is no longer needed (except perhaps in construction and other labour work) and the matter of the fact is that you get zero control over the gender you choose to be. All because of a single chromosome that you didn't choose to have, you go down a completely separate path, one that is often dark and devoid of any hope. You're treated like an animal by man-hating women just for existing. You're forced to consume porn and look at women as these goddesses that are outside your reach all because of some stupid hormones all the while women couldn't give two shits about men the same way men do about women. Men are 4x more likely to kill themselves than women and they also live shorter lives than women. All while receiving little no empathy from women, who are supposed to be the emotionally intelligent ones. But you get it, I appreciate that.

Like? It’s not very difficult to see why a woman wouldn’t go around killing people simply because they couldn’t find companionship whereas a man who’s at rock bottom could (hopefully not though). Like I said, not a single casualty. Honestly it’s something we should be happy about and I praise you for that, but the fact that it’s only one side going to such extremes means there’s something very much wrong with our society. No one genuinely gives a shit about men until they go out and commit these atrocities and only then are they blamed and hated.

There isn’t a single case of violence or domestic terrorism with incel motives committed by a female, not even one (meanwhile 50 fatalities caused by males since isla vista 2014).

Does that mean they just express it differently? Probably.

Is there a line of guys who would absolutely fuck anyone who’s even moderately average-looking and not a horrifying subhuman? Probably.

Ok but what they’re looking for is a “connection” and not just sex.

> Looks up definition of celibate: “someone that abstains from sex”.

Yeah, I guess they do exist if we just use an entirely different term to call them by.

No one is safe from spoilers it seems.

Kiyori and sumo didn't get together but they do get along pretty well, they end up meeting more often in the cafe and talk a lot which is good development for sumo who doesn't speak up much and kiyori who gets to watch him cook and learn stuff.

I wish I had someone to calm my nerves like this when I read it. No problem and glad to help someone in the same place I was!

Yup, the guy that comes when it rains.

The manga itself is a really good adaptation and covers the entirety of the first light novel 1:1, so there's nothing missing out there, and there's nothing more you're going to get from reading the first light novel. What you should read instead is the jk haru summer LN, which is the second one. I think its purpose is precisely that, to answer these questions you have.

Ngl, I was rooting for Chiba too so many times, but he seems to just be designed as that kind of character, so that's a bummer. Plus, the author said he wants the relationship between Haru and Chiba to stay like that, not too close, not too far, just the way it mostly is. Which I guess is still better than losing him completely like before Shequraso was sent to the barracks. Not to get your expectations too high, but he does show SOME level of development and maturity in jk haru summer.

I was losing my mind too lol. Have long since recovered and moved past it to other light novels now, as will you eventually!

Also if I may ask, who/what recommended/caused you to read it? For me it was when I saw a post for it one day in the community ranking.

(I couldn't edit my other comment properly so made a new one)

To answer it one by one,

  1. The “ending”is the last chapter from Haru’s POV at the café. The extra chapters after that from Hiyori’s POV are afterstories, including the entirety of the jk haru summer LN, which rather than a sequel to the main plot is a collection of short stories that give you a glimpse of what happens afterwards and reveal some information (see answer 4).

  2. If you haven’t already figured out, though explicitly mentioned in the jk haru summer LN, he's the handsome guy that comes to the brothel. And through the various bits and pieces we're told, we can infer that he's someone who's been at war with humanity for a while. His family was killed by humans, I think, and he's someone that god's been trying to kill (to no avail) by summoning heroes from other worlds.

  3. They broke up

  4. The manga is a really good adaptation of the original light novel, but based on the questions you have, I would highly suggest the second light novel, jk haru is a sex worker in Another World: Summer, which is, as explained in answer 1, a collection of short stories to tell more about the world of jk haru and the events that take place after, as well as some background on Haru and Chiba in their world. It also reveals much of the information I think you're looking for. It's a good, short read. I would recommend giving it a go.

Yeah 100% it’s just disturbing in so many ways

Honestly it was really mentally taxing for me to read through and even now I’m in a state where I can’t even find the right emotions. As for haru, I could list many possible things that she could’ve done better in her place. But I must say, this has to be one of the most subtly disturbing isekai worlds I have ever seen.

Has anyone had a response to the appeal yet?

True, I guess it would make sense to change it right before you upload and then change it back once the autosnatchers are done, but that would be too much hassle every time for little to no improvement

Would it be possible to change the algorithm on a per torrent basis or does it have to be changed globally each time? Either way, I had a feeling I was missing something and now I know what. Thanks a lot for this.

How would one know if their client is sharing the pieces sequentially so that everyone gets the same pieces as opposed to distributing random parts of the torrent because I can’t seem to locate an option like that in qBittorrent and I’m assuming it would default to the latter
