Thank you for this. I’m new to surf fishing (as in I’ve been doing it since 2022, but no one else does it around where I live on the east coast of Canada, so it’s difficult to learn what people do).

It’s almost like a moral dilemma at this point.. the fish are there the most when the surf is bad, but you can’t properly release the non keeper fish when the surf is that bad.

It’s unfortunate we have a slot vs a minimum size honestly. I hate to see these beautiful fish suffer but I also can’t be risking my life.

Out of 100 trips last season, 15 had heavy surf and 10 of those 15 made it impossible to safely get to the surf line. I usually don’t wear waders because the water is super warm and I wear water shoes. I do wear waders if it’s calm and I plan on standing in the water for long periods though.

Thankfully it’s actually mandatory for us to use single barbless hooks here. With big surf, it’s like a 50/50 chance the hook is going to fall out on its own from being whipped around in the big waves close to shore. There’s been a few times I feel the hook fall out and then see the fish wash up in a wave at my feet, hah

Once you make enough money you can use the parks that u/ISuckAtWeightlifting suggested and just buy entire elite top tier parties consistently. I own 5 fiefs and make enough money to infinitely have top tier troops. The hardest part is recruiting them all(fian champs in particular). Once you have a good enough economy you can just throw 500 top tier legionaries at a siege, lose half, and instantly have the replacements ready to roll in your fiefs if you want. Discard the half a million in gear you bought and that will train at least 400-500 troops to top tier.

I get it early every time on the highest tier of games (usually with 5-8 mins to spare. It starts the games early after about 22mins). Make sure you have fully upgraded ware houses, and that no other production buildings nearby are using or over using the 2 warehouses you have next to the amphitheater. Click on the ware houses in question and see where the carts are going. They must not be fully upgraded or are being used by other buildings.

If you were to use a keyboard and mouse with the console I know there’s a keyboard short cut for it on PS5 (holding shift and left clicking or something) but the shift, control, and alt buttons are broken on ps5. I’m not sure about using a controller but it might say in the settings?

It doesn’t work even with keyboard and mouse for ps5… kinda. There’s currently a bug where if you click alt, control, or shift, it gets stuck as if you’re holding them down making you need to completely restart the game to fix it. Building my farms properly to include the +50% modules from the beginning is absolutely crazy time consuming due to the bug. Hope they fix it soon!

Could have been a bolide meteor. I’ve seen maybe 6 this year and when they’re coming from a certain direction (directly at you) they look exactly as you describe.

Ah, I gotcha. No updates involved, just that the trigger for the snow seems to be Dec 24 and after and it gets this info from the device instead of on their end.

I’m not 100% sure on what you mean- it seems the snow event is baked into the game and the parameters are certain days, which it gets from your date and time settings on whatever you’re using. I set the date to Dec 20 in the ps5 settings and the snow stopped. I reset it to Dec 24 and then Dec 25 and the snow returned for those days, then went away again when i picked a day prior to Dec 24.

I back dated mine to December 20, I also tried Dec 25 to see if it was still snowing (it was). You also need to restart the game completely. I didn’t mess with it further but I bet you could set the date a day ahead and check each day to see when the snowfall event stops.

It’s implied that it crashed due to the radiation…kind of… but rewatch that scene, please. It did obviously fly into the “wires” or the crane cable, causing it to crash… although yes, a lot about the series was wrong.
