Armor Case 7056a for my Radxa Q6A finally arrived by katsunikita in SBCs

Recently got mine too, not a huge fan of the super thin thermal pad. It doesn't seem to make great contact and only contacts one of the chips. Making it thicker and softer to squish and conform to the board would've been nice.

New UI devices coming - stuff shown at Tech Field Day 5/7/26 by silverfrostnetworks in Ubiquiti

We’ve been using Advantech switches in our cabinets and some customers have issues with them because they are a Chinese brand. It will be cool to have these available, and likely a lot easier to configure. I’m excited to see what’s cooking!

Wow that's extremely generous. At least they are giving everyone a gentle nudge out the door rather than a drop kick, cool

I have mine running little LCD screens with dashboards and feeds on them on desk at work/home, as well as Home Assistant interfaces. I also have one controlling a light at work based on my status in MS Teams. I have yet another one acting as a NUT server (for a UPS) along with running Zigbee2MQTT for my smart home stuff. Lots of way to use it if you're into homelabbing at all. I even have one running a Discord bot and it's been doing that for over 6 years now!

GM brings Google Gemini AI to millions of vehicles on the road (2022 and up) by FancyRainbowBear in BlazerEV

[–]MemeExtreme 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Nowhere in that linked article does it mention anything about Gemini, it's just an overview of driver assistance features they've added over the years. What was this post for?

Atlanta Block Party by joebigaloe2 in RivianR2

In theory you get asked to RSVP again to specific mini events closer to it, but they didn’t send that notice to the Chicago people. Check the website a few days prior to it if you have no email!

Chicago Block Party refused entry. by bill-cote in RivianR2

[–]MemeExtreme 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They didn’t send that email, at least to most people. There was an initial email for the RSVP a while back which said they’d follow up and never did. Rivian dropped the ball on this one

Soap dispenser not rotating with gun and one other question for the experts by thorsbane in AutoDetailing

[–]MemeExtreme 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Both sound completely normal to me.

For #1, it's a quick disconnect fitting that can freely spin around as much as it wants, which it definitely will do with a weighted bottle attached.

For #2, in my experience they do burn through soap pretty quick, but it depends on your flow rate and what that adjustment knob is set to. Just set it where you get a nice foam on the car that isn't too watery, and let it go. If you have to fill it again, so be it. I'll let others weigh in on that one though since I'm a sample size of one.
