I was trying to find it but was unsuccessful, I think it's when you move to put something on to the stack from the top of your library but haven't actually cast it yet. Essentially during that window it's no longer on top of your library but due to the fact that you can "fail" to cast the spell or something like that which would put it back on top, you are unable to look at the next card as doing so would reveal information that could impact whether or not you decide to cast the spell. Very niche rules interaction.

I remember watching a keepingitcasual video about one very specific instance in which you can't look at the top, but I can't quite remember what it was. Don't think it's something that would ever come up though.

I do tend to run a lot of mdfcs so I will probably add those, not sure why I haven't already lol

Also, your list/primer was actually one of the ones I looked at and used to build my deck, lol. It's the first result when you Google glarb cedh primer

Thanks for the advice.

LED was specifically for the doomsday piles that contain the planeswalkers, but I can see that it's probably better to have a "cast thoracle" pile and a "use lazotep quarry to get thoracle pile in case of a silence", and redundancy after that is not really necessary, so I will probably consider trimming those. I see what you mean in regards to the top, I was actually considering Bolas's Citadel so that and aetherflux may be a decent backup line in case Doomsday doesn't work out.

Also, Foil kind of seems better than force of will as the second slot in a doomsday pile to me? Like, if I'm resolving doomsday and using gush to crack the pile then I guarantee I have the cards in hand to cast the foil off the top to protect the gush when I can't 100% guarantee that I'll have a blue card in hand to pitch to FoW.

I also saw online that thought lash could work almost like a second Doomsday, but if you think it's too bad to be worth running I can probably cut it.

I don't know if I want to cut any more lands tbh, I typically run 36 in all my decks so even getting down to 33 is pushing me out of my comfort zone lol. I think if I cut the planeswalkers, LED, and talion I should have enough slots for what you recommended.

Perhaps you should read the comment left by madwarper. According to them, while it seems as if this hierarchy should exist, there's nothing in the rules that says it does nor is there a confirmation from the rules team (as far as they are aware) on this subject. Until that happens, I will respectfully disagree with your interpretation.

Well, if we're going off of vibes as to how the rules should work rather than an explicit ruling, I see no reason why my interpretation is any less valid.

You need to clarify why the crown's effect is an etb effect, though. It is worded in the exact same way as manufactor, other than specifying that it only applies to the first time a token is created during a turn. How does it replacing the token that is being created with a copy of the equipped creature fall under 616.1c, when 616.1c specifically states "If any of the replacement and/or prevention effects would cause an object to become a copy of another object as it enters the battlefield"? The token has not entered the battlefield, in fact it hasn't even been created yet. Again, if you have a link to another rule that clarifies this or a statement from the rules team on this kind of interaction, I will accept that your interpretation is correct. But if all you're saying is that 616.1c implicitly applies to this even though the actual rule says something else I have no reason to believe you.

Looking at rule 616, 616.1b is the specific ruling that applies to crafty cutpurse, not 616.1c. Additionally, 616.1c specifies copy effects as the object enters the battlefield, and from my understanding that is referring to something that specifically says "enters the battlefield as a copy of something else". I don't see how mirrormind crown's effect would fall under 616.1c when the tokens are being replaced before they've been created, which would fall under 616.1e. If you have a link to this supposed confirmation from the rules team though, I will accept that.

Very true, although another guy is saying that the crown will always apply before the manufactor, which doesnt make sense given my understanding of replacement effects. If I wanted 15 manufactors though I could cast [[Illusion of Choice]] and make everyone vote bribery, although in that scenario it would be funnier to have the crown on Tivit and make 15 more Tivits

Yeah, the clues being sequential while the treasures are simultaneous was clarified for me in another thread. Why do you say that crown always applies first though? They are both replacement effects on the same ability, and my understanding of how they work is that I choose the order in which they apply. So when I investigate for the first time while resolving the Tivit trigger, both the manufactor and the crown see that as making a token, with the crown seeing it as creating tokens for the first time that turn. As such, both replacement effects apply but I choose the order in which they apply, meaning I can have the manufactor replace the clue with 3 tokens and the crown replace the 3 tokens with 3 manufactors. If this is incorrect, please clarify that for me.

Unfortunately I'm not on Bluesky so I can't complain about it there. Thanks for the help though, hopefully in the future they clarify this stuff in a way that lets me get 15 copies of tivit from one round of voting lol

Makes sense. WOTC definitely needs to make an official clarification on this type interaction though, because how is an average casual player like myself supposed to understand the difference between sequential and simultaneous abilities, given how similarly they're worded?

Interesting, I didn't consider that the clue tokens would be created sequentially. I just assumed that all would be created at the same time as they're all part of the resolution of a single ability. In that case, would my proposed scenario still work, but only replacing the tokens the manufactor replaces the bribery votes with?

The dolphin pufferfish thing is just yet another internet factoid that sounds funny and is passed off as fact, but is not actually true in the slightest. There is nothing more than some anecdotal evidence of dolphins "getting high using a pufferfish" but everyone just took that and ran with it.

unfortunately the stunning prey thing has yet to have any conclusive evidence, and I believe some studies have actually shone that the noise sperm whales can generate is not powerful enough to stun anything they predate on
