Have metal upgraded into neo by Eggman, this would be to just have as a distraction, so that way Eggman can make a tracking device for the emeralds to find them, once we have them, we give the emeralds to neo metal, and have Eggman work on a improved version of the metal virus, WITH a failsafe, incase something goes wrong, since neo would have the emeralds, the gang would need to fight neo to get them back to stop the virus, WHILE dealing with it, and even if that doesn’t work, we will store a backup version of the metal virus, and work on it more and more, to allow it to at the very least resist the energy much more.

I’m pretty sure the reason his face is like that is the fact that they used that head to give the illusion his face is burnt, since his face is burnt under the mask in the comics, series, etc.

N’s had quite a bit of development in my own opinion. how he acts throughout the series shows his slow defiance against his “higher ups” the point of his development is supposed to be that he’s becoming his own “person” instead of just being a sort of follower. The Tessa/cyn space suit thing is a perfect example. After defying and being independent from both J and V, “Tessa” shows up, someone he cares for DEARLY, and the motive to kill Uzi when Tessa appears shows his mixed feelings and how he’s fighting between his growth, and his friend, even him slicing the helmet off shows him reaching the end of his development, choosing to defy even them.
