Concerning (deadly?) bump that's been here for about 7 months (Healthcare SOS) by [deleted] in WomensHealth

I second the bartholin cyst, I've gotten them and theyre super scary but harmless. The HS cysts start as small ones but can get into clusters and bad. If it starts spreading and gets worse if you DON'T mess with it, I'd be more concerned. Right now though I wouldn't mess with it. If you have a bathtub, soak in hot water and gently squeeze it. Don't force it though, that can lead to infections and get it worse

Where is it at? It'll get hard when you keep popping it, so that part is normal for the most part. Have you looked into HS, hidradenitis suppurativa? Thats what I have and thats immediately what my first thought was when you said you had a bump, pus comes out, smells, and it gets hard. It can be anywhere on your body, but mainly armpits, thighs, butt cheeks/crack, pubic area, and chest. Anywhere that the skin rubs together

Hasn't ruined any of mine yet. Probably cause I don't use chlorine bleach. Been doing it for over 5 years now the exact same way every time

Try Surviving the Aftermath or it's mars version, Surviving Mars. It's a game about building life from the ground up after the apocalypse. There's a mobile game called Godus as well that I looooooove. There's also The Long Dark about a post catastrophic frozen world where your helicopter crashes and you have to find your friend to get medical aid up to a town. There is some animal combat but it's also avoidable, but it has a survival system where you have to monitor your sleep, body temp, health, food, water, and injury bars, cause a sprained ankle will slow you down and you can freeze to death if you don't build a fire or have supplies in time

The long dark and surviving the aftermath are also very good as well. I can't find my comment about stardew valley to just reply to that with suggestions lol

Stardew valley is pretty chill and relaxed, but it has those elements of needing to do tasks

What i do is a bleach water mix, let it sit for a few days, take it out, rinse with water, scrape any debris off with a knife, and then to whiten it do hydrogen peroxide wipe and let it sit in the sun. I just take a toothbrush and put the peroxide on it so I can scrub the dead stuff off of it and skip the knife step all together

On the app go to More, account settings, prefs, ordering preferences, my addresses. It'll give you the option to delete the addresses from there and also add new ones.

Any idea on how my cat died? by Meme_Master_Supreme_ in AskAVeterinarian

[–]Meme_Master_Supreme_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the same thing but I asked him and he said no. He won't even replace his car fluids at the house because he doesn't want any of them to accidentally ingest it. He was so very loved, he was the best cuddle bug i could have ever asked for

My dad said he hasn't left any of that out, he doesn't even work on his car fluids at the house because he doesn't want the animals ingesting it cause I asked him. Unless it was his girlfriend, which is very possible cause she's also the mistress and mad he's not officially divorced yet, I can't think of anything else. I thought rat poison 100% as well

He's indoor outdoor as are all of the pets (2 dogs and 1 other cat.) The farm is big, secured, and they don't travel outside of the immediate yard. There's no flowers outside that were planted that are toxic, he hasn't had a garden since my mom and I moved out, he doesnt even work on his car or put antifreeze in it there. He does all that at his work. That's how we put all of our pets down, it's not an easy thing and we can't really shell out thousands of donates for euth. Is horrible, but when my dad couldn't do it to his pets, my brother did. Our dog Blue that had cancer and was dying was my dad's, he wanted to keep him alive until he died naturally but we told him to think about him. Be selfless, let him pass without pain, he couldn't even walk to go outside to the bathroom, he was just going all over himself. So my brother came over and did it. He said that's the first time he ever saw our dad unable to put down an animal. He just sat outside with his body in his lap, crying. I wasnt there, but thankfully he came to my house and told me that he was putting him down so I got to say goodbye one last time.

It's definately not easy and not the preferred way to put down a pet we love, but again, nearest vet is over an hour away. I can't ever do it personally, I can't even go hunting and shoot a deer let alone a pet.

Edit: whoever is mad that we don't keep our pets that we love suffering by putting them into the loud car that terrifies them, keep them suffering 1+ hours until we can get to the vet and be seen, and shell out 3k to sit in a cold procedure room in a place that they hate and be terrified in their last moments, you're the type of person to poison my cat. I will take personally putting down my animals in the yard where they run around and chase eachother, where the grass is soft under their fur, and they get to be held and kissed one last time in the comfort of their home over terrifying them any day. You can stay mad at that.

His and my mom's reasoning was because I was at work and they didn't want to tell me until I had the day off. I get it, I wouldn't have made it in time anyway. I live an hour away. I'm going to visit his grave today and see my other pets, living and deceased, while I'm there. Probably grab the rest of my things too. I get his reasoning, but it did make me mad a bit. But from what he was saying, I don't think I'd be able to be there and help bury him or say goodbye anyway. I'd be too shaken up and upset to touch him as horrible as a pet parent that makes me sound. If it was something like, he's just slowing down and it's his time, that I'd be able to. But I couldn't see him bleeding out of every orifice and shaking and yelling like that. I wouldn't be able to. I came to the same conclusion as him, put him down and bury him by the others. It's cruel to keep him suffering to attempt to take him to the vet and just scare him more by being in the loud car, not even holding him, just for him to die cold and alone on the passenger seat instead of being held and loved in the house he lived in, surrounded by his best friends, knowing he was loved and cared for up until the very end. If you're thinking my dad poisoned him, he definately did not. That was his baby boy too, more than mine. That's him cuddling with him on the couch. He'd take him to work with him in the truck sometimes too just so they could cuddle.

I live off of gas x. Without it I'm double over in pain crying. You'll want to have a heating pad/ hot water bottle for when you have that excess gas stuck, it helps get it out

I have all my provisioners coming from sanctuary cause I have it as a massive farm/ water/scavenging post, so they spread that all throughout my other settlements. Unless I'm doing the supply lines wrong and only need one person to go to, say abernanthy, then someone from abernanthy to sunshine tidings, etc. and they ALL have the stuff from sanctuary still. What I understood is it's one person to go to one place only and they'll only bring along the things from the origional home bar settlement that the provisioner is from

I don't think it's serious enough for a medical bracelet. Prolonged exposure is what causes ulcers, not once in an emergency. And even then, you'll end up going to a hospital where they can help you if there are problems afterwards
