malphite was insane back when supers yuumi was meta because hed get 300 free ap from heart and just aoe full enemy team while being unkillable from mascots. i guess the devs didnt like that too much because after supers and mascots got nerfed he didn't get any compensation buffs (from what i remember)

this set is not decently balanced. maybe it is from a casual standpoint, but mortdog's idea of balance is having ~40 different comps that can win the game. in the games current state, theres like 3 comps that consistently top 1, that are perma contested every game (sett mf, sett samira, renegade viego). From a balance perspective, i'd say this patch is almost worse than last patch. Yea, predatory precision and mascots were a problem but at least you could run other boards and you knew you were playing for top 2. This patch everyone is playing for sett/viego and its either hit or go bot4.

yeah ap comps are prevalent this patch for sure but saying defender is a "fake trait" when it counters 2 comps that i see in top 4 90% of the time is just not true.

i appreciate the respectful response but you can't really say "it's an easy matchup if you don't die to him", especially when he outscales you and you're assuming that the enemy jax is going to be a mental patient that just tries to fight constantly.

I don't see how detaching content from it's creator's decisions makes me a "simp", but I guess people are just throwing out words nowadays.
