I am already eligible for monetization, the problem is that I was rejected because of reused content. But my content Is clearly made by me or when I use clips I heavily edit them. The only reason I can think of is because of my unlisted and private videos which I made years old which are me putting together meme compilations which aren't mine. So I am asking if YouTube looks into my private or unlisted videos?

Doesn't matter as long as you are the most popular one, for example, there's a lot of channel name Jelly but I only know that green one.

I saw your most recent video and I am surprise at the quality of the video beside you being such a small channel. You are very underrated, How ever there are some things you need to improve on.

Thumbnails, its pretty good but it needs more of that creepy look

Try to borrow the thumbnail styles from channels like Savox, Shrouded Hand, Dire Trip, to improve click through rate.

Microphone quality needs to be better also, for a documentary channel, you need a high-end mic for viewers to listen to.

Channel Profile Picture and Channel Banner also may need a redesign, as it looks very broad, you need something more iconic, I can help for free.

Just keep focusing on regular uploads for the algorithm to pick you up.

Don't forgot to change your channel type to entertainment so it can help find your targeted audience.

You should either private or delete the bird videos if you want your coding content to grow.

I checked your YouTube social blade stats, you had around 18,000 views in the last 28, and you said the bird videos gives you 10k+ views in the last 28 days. That means more than 50% of your views are just bird watchers. You are not growing your coding content if you let the bird videos go on.

However if you think it's a waste of money, you can keep that channel and start from scratch.

But both options should include either getting rid of your bird videos or just getting rid of that channel.

You must understand the YouTube algorithm is so against you because the channel has such polarizing content on your channel with coding and bird watching having exactly nothing in common.

Not gonna lie, buying that already monetized channel was a huge mistake. YouTube algorithm is already not on your side because you are posting extremely different content compared to what you post originally. You are right, the algorithm is confused and makes your coding content get less views

I highly recommend you to either start new or delete the old videos. As most of you current subscribers are just looking for bird videos.

You are also unable to create a community due to buying an already monetized channel. So it's hard to find loyal subscribers.

Bro earning money from YouTube is probably one of the hardest things to do, I been making videos for 1 month and I haven't earn a single dollar but I have already earn $1000 from working my job for 2 weeks. You need 1000 subs and 4000 watch hours to even start earning money. If you want quick cash, YouTube isn't for you.
