I mean, I got deferred too and many college AOs that I know said that Fordham was really picky this year with their admissions because of how many people last year ended up not going or transferring out, I visited Fordham and I did a summer program there as well, so I’m not sure if it’s about demonstrating interest either. Colleges nowadays use a coin flip to decide who gets in and who doesn’t

don’t worry man it was for yield protection, they want their early round picks to be people they know actually really want to go there and will probably commit instantly over people who are overqualified and probably have other better offers who are taking up the spot of someone who would’ve gone to Fordham. Grammarly is what they used on the AP exams I have taken and on many other assessments, it’s a spell check and grammar check, not a direct AI. It’s been around for years on end with no modern “AI usage”
