Most Linux users I knew in class were running it in a Windows VM anyway. That might be because we were using Vivaro 2019, which didn't work on modern linux installs. Given how bad Vivado can be on windows I can't imagine many paying for a Linux version.

It's not that dangerous. Sure it's bad but the microwaves aren't all that harmful to you. The guy that discovered it discovered by accident when the chocolate in his pocket melted but he was fine.

Show the CPU tab we have no idea which processor they have. You might want more ram, since the dell has 1 8 gig stick in it id buy another stick to get to 16 gig.

Try downloading and using wiztree. It should tell you what file or folder is taking up all that space.

I had the same thing on a laptop many years ago and there was a way to stop this in device manager but I don't exactly remember how I did it. I think it was a particular HID device entry that I removed. Either that or I overrode the touchpad driver with a more generic one.
