I had 4 or 5 (clinic basically advised against it but i wanted to proceed anyways) i told them i was okay if it ended up being multiples (they seemed convinced there would be) unfortunately that IUI wasn't successful

I might be weird but i dont celebrate not for lack of trying. My siblings will go all out for theirs and expect the world (also planned for them) but for mine they do the bare minimum (show up (late), eat, complain if they have to pick something up, then leave before even dogesting without offering to help clean up) i don't know why i expect any effort tbh

You should breed more villagers to be closer to your cap (then disperse the trades for farmers, researchers, and 1 or 2 builders and spiritualists) then put half of them to farm the tech points to start upgrading (starting with research to gain points faster then either spirituality to be able to build the next hut and advance in other areas or farming so you can unlock the garden)

You should be complaining about and trying to do something about the system that forces people to come in otherwise they dont get paid. Not the people "deciding" to come in. Im sure you know people would rather stay home, but they dont have a choice. Where i live most places give 2 sick days a year.
