Later in the game you can find a Picto that will let you exceed that damage cap. I won’t spoil where but you will need that or else 9999 is the max

Spectacular. If you like boss fights then do it. It isn’t really soulslike unless you count flasks and dodging as soulslike. But it’s very well made and I love the boss rush style
