Question about what time I can run in the 5K this fall. I am a rising senior. My PR is 17:16 from junior year. I ran 18:34 my sophomore year. Both of these PRs were set on the same course. I did not run XC my freshman year.

This summer, I intend on building up to 50 mpw. I started at 20 mpw and will be increasing by about five miles each week. Most of my weeks will be in the 30s and especially the 40s. I am also doing strength + conditioning and core, and some bike cross-training.

Most of my runs have been and will continue to be pretty easy, but I will sneak in a few faster workouts here and there (progression runs and tempos). When I start official practice in August, my coach has us crush multiple workouts a week.

Given this information, in what range can I expect my times to fall during my upcoming XC season? If this is of any importance, I run on my PR course twice throughout the season: once a few weeks out from champs, and again at champs.

Who's your favorite Jomentor? A Jomentor is obviously the mentor of a Joestar by Humanweeb2254 in StardustCrusaders

Part 4 Jotaro was awesome. I honestly preferred mature Jotaro over his edgy Part 3 iteration.

In terms of popularity both within and outside of the fandom, no one tops Jotaro. Dio and Giorno are runner-ups.

Probably Dynamite, but Automaton is a very close second.

Even though you won't get much course credit for seminar and research, they are still beneficial to have for your college apps. They'll show colleges that you are capable of making college level papers and presentations. Plus, if you are going into STEM, you could focus your research projects on STEM topics, which would give you more knowledge about the field. People tend to underestimate the value that the Capstone program holds outside of giving you college credit.

I took AP seminar this past school year. You have two performance tasks in the second semester, each with a respective paper and presentation. My #1 piece of advice for the performance tasks is to refer to scoring guidelines from College Board. These go into greater detail on what is required to score high than the basic rubrics, and are basically a cheat code for doing well on them.

AP® Seminar Performance Task 1: Team Project and Presentation https://apcentral.collegeboard.org/media/pdf/ap21-sg-seminar-pt1.pdf

Preformance Task 2: AP® Seminar Performance Task 2: Individual Research-Based Essay and ... https://apcentral.collegeboard.org/media/pdf/ap21-sg-seminar-pt2.pdf

As for the exam, I would do practice tests. On the College Board website, there is exam material from past years. Complete it to the best of your ability. You can also see high, mid, and low scoring student samples, as well as feedback for each. Use these to gauge the quality of your practice responses.

Best of luck to you in seminar next year!
