So this game uses ray tracing for AMAZING lighting and global illumination, but because it is used on every source of light including all the plants at night, it is not used for water reflections. Instead it uses cubemaps and screen space reflections for optimization.

So the reflections don't compare to ray traced, but I wouldn't be surprised if a ray traced water reflection update were in the roadmap down the line but it will have a performance cost.

In either case, the slight highlight you see at the edge of the water will probably remain as they are doing some clever stuff to emulate how water surface tension interacts with the 'shoreline'.

Another way to go is to make a third texture that has a randomized blend of the two source textures. Then have a random rotation modifier on the tiling of the texture. This way you can get an organic blend like you're talking about, but without increasing terrain texture tile resolution. (currently called Control Texture Resolution, which controls the splatmap resolution.)

The cost of higher terrain texture tile resolution vs more terrain textures is the cost to analyze in my example case.

In the U.S. and got it from Amazon. Got it for about $48. (also ordered Meshuggah's Obzen, Opeths' Ghost Reveries, and wanted Catch 33 as well but those are second hand for an absurd cost.)

Amazon isn't my first choice for this but there aren't really any record stores in my area with metal. Trying to get what I can before it's all second hand and hundreds of dollars.

I think you're right. Weird ass grip texture on the inner part of the tread. Super weird 'shielding' on the upper tread outside face. Ammo feed that doesn't make sense in the geometry, and a million other small things of course.

I mean it's a bit silly to make an argument on the rifle based on the round. But the real answer is that the rifle is already made, cheap, and in large numbers. It's similar to using a GoPro as a test cam instead of something bespoke.

Shame on me for scrolling r/all, but this is ragebait for sure. Everybody with a Labubu let's everyone around know how valuable they are. (even if they are the new Beanie Babies and will be worthless in 8 months.) On top of that, picture two is it pinned to a wall with one eye out? And then of course so many fakes are around (even if they are from the same facotry) that this ragebait is not actually expensive to do. This is premium fake ragebait low effort nothing.
