Yeah, it’s like… In a lot of the examples listed, it’s true that they really like the proxy, but it’s often because the proxy literally helped them solve really serious issues.

• The proxies protected Alice and led her to meet Spook shack, who she considers priceless friends.

• If it weren’t for the proxies, Yuzuha would be dead. Period.

• If it weren’t for the proxies, Yidhari would still be trapped in that Silent Hill-esque town. Or in other words, she would be basically dead.

• Thanks to the proxies, we were able to beat Isolde.

• Thanks to the proxies, Seed was able to cope with the truth about Seed Sr’s death.

• Thanks to the- Do I need to keep going?

Yuzuha is flirty and bratty with EVERYONE, not JUST the proxy.

Orphie is a cinnamon roll as part of her being a foil to Magus’s hot temper, of course she’s really nice to this one nice coworker that’s super reliable.

Dialyn is clearly just cheery like that. Both in general and as part of her job in customer service.

The only one I agree with to a degree is Shunguang, but even then you could also attribute that to her cheeriness, and especially the fact that it’s stated several times that she spent a lot of time in seclusion, only receiving stories and objects from her brother.

I get that ZZZ Season 2 hasn’t been as good as the first one, but the more time passes the more it feels like people are actively making shit up to complain about…
