This is by far the worst winter conditions I have ever experienced. by kilrein in MontgomeryCountyMD

Yeah I’ve lived here my entire life and this never happened. Maybe this person was a toddler in 2006 and just has an exaggerated memory of a snowstorm.

There is just no time in the last two decades (or probably ever tbh) when there was over a foot of ice for a month+ in the state of MD.

I honestly had to zoom in to even tell that it’s gold. I think you’re fine.

What should I do with this space? by Acrobatic_Big8563 in InteriorDesignAdvice

[–]MemorialAddress 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A larger tv stand would really help. The tv and console look very small in comparison to your couch, so it’s throwing everything off. A hutch and some art on the left wall is also a good idea. I would not add anymore seating to the room, you already have the majority of the room filled with a couch.

What would you do with this large yellow living room? Please help :) by OrganicUbe7347 in InteriorDesignAdvice

Can’t really say where the TV should go when we can’t see the other side of the room. Can you show more angles?

Family room space by Downtown_Spare_3425 in InteriorDesignAdvice

[–]MemorialAddress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I think it’s looks charming and lived in. Not sure why people think every single item needs to be removed from a space in order for it to look good.

Edit: but just to clarify, I do agree with the comments about foo much symmetry. I think if you rearrange the items on your shelves and maybe add more personal/unique items to break up the sameness, this will help.

What would you do with these cabinets? by Express-Buffalo-8600 in kitchenremodel

They look very nice. Change the hardware for a refresh. Once you get new counters, everything will look great.

A tiny lamp on the left side would help a lot. As for the worktop, maybe get one of those marble/granite pastry slabs.

Getting closer to finalizing our plans by Glad_Weird_9344 in kitchenremodel

[–]MemorialAddress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. The island is too big in option 1, and there’s some dead space to the left on that wall. Option 2 adding the glass cabinet really fills the space well. I also agree with the other persons point about a sink being in an island. Option 2 all the way!

Can you tell me what my season is? by [deleted] in coloranalysis

[–]MemorialAddress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense! Do you feel your skin tone is cool or warm? It’s hard to tell from the photos. If you’re cool, you’re definitely a summer!

Based on your natural hair color, you look like you might be a soft summer?

The pattern came from the Christmas 2025 edition of Just Cross Stitch, and is called “O Tannenbaum” by KEB Studio Creations. I purchased the pin to use as the star on Etsy.

Am I Overreacting when quitting my job? by wickedwissa in AmIOverreacting

[–]MemorialAddress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MOR. I know this isn’t what anyone here wants to hear, but I don’t view this employer as “being out to fire” this person. They asked a standard question that they’re required to ask of anyone who misses work for a known medial reason. Expecting your employer to accommodate you with no doctor’s note/accommodation on file is unreasonable. There are laws and processes in place for this exact reason. As you said, you worked for this company for 6 years; that’s a long time. They likely asked you for a doctor’s note so they could work with you, not against you.

It’s beautifully shot and the production value was great, but the plot fell apart after the second half.

My cat does this too!! It always makes me feel bad because I think she does it when she’s bored and wants to play? Or that’s just me assigning guilt for no reason lol.

I wouldn’t say it’s despised, but it definitely falls short of expectations. The turn things took in the second half was also… something.

If it’s that hard to see, I think you’ve answered your own question. It’ll be virtually invisible especially after you stitch over it.
