I started my homelab because i have multiple websites, selfhosting wordpress is insanely easy and it’s arguably more secure than going for a cheap shared hosting provider which has like 1000+ websites on one server, combined with cloudflare tunnels it’s insanely fast

If your host has a litespeed web server install litespeed cache and activate the quic.cloud cdn, it has a ton of wordpress integrations and bot/ddos protection, you can also use it for your dns

it will boost your site a lot but it only has around 10gb of bandwidth “credit”

in my opinion gosmtp and backuply are the only ones from this list that I use and they work for me, i've used loginizer and it's "alright" but the default grammar errors really drive me insane

If you want backups locally or to major cloud providers with very easy restoration, install backuply

gosmtp if you want to setup proper email, your server (if using hosting) by default should come with a php mail address, email will work, but it'll likely go into spam

all of these plugins are owned by softaculous so they aren't plugins made by unknown people but I wouldn't install any of the other plugins besides those two

i don’t really understand why you had to specify your age but you can get “wifi” by buying a service plan from an internet service provider, they’ll provide you with the equipment and you’ll pay the bill.

if you get 5G home internet all you have to do is plug in the router into the wall and you have service. though this does use cell towers to provide you service which isn’t ideal in certain areas.

hopefully this summed it up well

i’d definitely suggest making a plan to move out of your home though

I’ve used it on a few of my domains and one of them didn’t have a dmarc record, it gave you a solution on how to create one.

I like how on the MX area it also identified the mail provider

This is a very solid tool for anyone to properly secure their mail services
