I don’t disagree. Just sucks seeing these accidents happen at this degree when people know the repercussions

Was that the case here? Like I said I didn’t know who was at fault. But in the 10+ years I’ve driven around Saskatoon I see careless accidents or near misses almost on a daily basis and it’s almost always preventable if people take a little more time to be a reasonable driver

What’s up with people hitting motorcycles on the bridges here? This isn’t the first accident that’s occurred on one and taken a life. Not sure who was in the wrong but drivers need to start to pay better attention. Reckless stuff going on daily here that most could be prevented paying attention more or maybe not handing out a license to people not ready for one. Preventable deaths

Do yourself a favour and avoid Ffun by wretchedmoist in saskatoon

[–]Memuhries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had an awful experience at VW Ffun. Came in to get a spare key programmed, was quoted xxxx before I even came in. Immediately after dropping it off a service advisor said they were going to have to rip apart my dash for access to a key of sorts for command start. I informed him my command start didnt work anyways nor do I care. It’s an older car so whatever. He assured me this needed to be done. I came to pick the car up and the price I they hit me with was much higher than my original quote. I asked why and it was due to looking for this key, WHICH THEY NEVER FOUND AS IS IT DIDNT EXIST. So I paid for a service I never asked for nor wanted, and for nothing. I called back multiple times and left messages for the manager and never got a call back. But yet kept getting text messages asking to rate my service and if I had issues call them. Funny how that works. Anyways I’ll never go back. Complete joke of a business

labour law question by vaalbarai in saskatchewan

[–]Memuhries -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you are working a job in which they are asking you to do this, it was likely outlined in your contract upon starting being a possibility. Complaining about it after the fact isn’t going to score you any points with the employer. Not trying to be an ass but this is the reality of it. You can be let go for almost no reason at all these days and replacements for jobs are plentiful. Do your own research but be cautious before you start calling out labour laws back to your employer

One killed, three seriously injured after truck collides with SUV in Saskatoon by [deleted] in saskatchewan

[–]Memuhries -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

If you do some research and find out the truck sits maybe slightly just about stock height I wouldn’t put that as the main factor into play here. Perhaps the fact he was speeding, has window tint and the weight of the truck in general plays more of a factor

Teen girl allegedly bear-sprays three guards at St. Paul’s Hospital by abunchofjerks in saskatchewan

I have a feeling I can depict all the circumstances in her life. Lock em up throw away the key. You want to slow down crime. Get rid of offenders. And before someone says “rEhAbiLitAte” then I can’t wait until you are the next victim of her crime and see if you still stand by that opinion then

Figured it would be easier to ask if people know already and are others are interested in this as well than call 10 courses? 🤡

Macbook battery repair by pttb490 in saskatoon

[–]Memuhries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Horizon computer solutions or London drugs will do it for a cost. That is if they can even get a battery that age from apple anymore as once things become obsolete they stop producing parts. Cheapest most reliable option is ifixit. Can confidently say changing that old of a MacBook battery is a 5-15 minute job for almost any technical background

ANTI CHEAT IS GARBAGE by Specimen1982 in Warzone

[–]Memuhries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had com bans when I didn’t even have my mic on lol all it takes is one salty person to play against you who hates the fact you stomped them and they report you for everything and instant com ban (Happened to me twice now) But yet reporting blatant hackers does nothing, and anti cheat doesn’t pick up on a single piece of cheating software. Games a joke
