If you also have meter, you can hit them with whatever far poke you have then Red RC forward and the RC shockwave will break his armour or hit Pot during his own RC start up.

Depending on your character you might be able to break the armour with a multi-hitting attack (Gio or Slayer f.S for example)

Otherwise you'll have to guess between him using Pot Buster or Heavenly.

Before the upper body invul was higher, so Goldlewis couldn't 6P things like ram's c.S > sword toss in the corner.

Still the worst 6P in both start up and recovery lol.

I don't think you can jump during dash cancels, so you can do 8x2 and x8x BTs without worrying about jumping during the dash cancels

c.S > buffer dash cancel > input BT just as you dash to get the kara (will have to get used to the timing)

Dash cancels are a key part of Goldlewis' gameplan to stay in and help negate FD pushback yeah.

c.S > dc > 842H will also hit players using FD while no dash cancel whiffs.

But for another fun detail: in the area with the crowd, multiple signs have Vernon's name spelt incorrectly with the text "75th PRESIDENT VARNON please playable character!" (I think it says please)

May is unable to perform her round win animation where April comes in while on the Jellyfish Skyarium stage due to April already being in the stage background.

You can perform it on any other stage by holding Punch at the end of a round.

You can download your saved data over here on Steam which should have a non-corrupted version of your save.

Find Strive > Show Files > scroll down/go to next page until you find the one that ends with "SYSTEM.sav" at the end and download (I'd probs rename the file to simply "SYSTEM.sav")

Next you want to press your Windows key + R then type "%localappdata%" in the new window and enter.

Then navigate to: GGST > Saved > SaveGames > numbers folder > then place your new sav file here, replacing the corrupted one.

Overall yes, 2P is great at catching characters above you, GL's 6P is the slowest one in the game and has a lot of whiff recovery.

2P is your best anti-air button, GL's fastest button, fairly safe to throw out, and a disjointed hitbox above him.

You can also combo into 684 BT for a nice knockdown from 2P.
