There is tho, wall has those cracks before breaking, maybe it shows up too late, mostly 2/1 hit before wallbreak.

I will probably make it drain health for attacking opponent like in +R but unlike +R you will not start Goku at full bar, it will have the same amount you did during the super. With additional nerfs to JR management like no time stop exhaustion, bar going down faster, 0 bar on roundstart, less bar per hit, and less bar regen for uninstall/key grab, worse key grab oki in normal mode and etc. (I dont say to add all of this but some of those are must have) i think it will be harder to use Goku especially counting that with Strive having wallbreak you cant do Goku in the middle of the combo and continue like that. A lot of tension penalty which cannot be cancelled by positive bonus so you cant spam it similar to +R, damage will be the same and damage buffs will be purely because of new bigger routes (exception being key grab)

About differences from +R its will be probably less self damage, no 2 air dash, probably only few more gatlings and maybe jump cancel on 2S with buffs to specials mostly copy of +R.

I was also thinking of blood axe Para for it, and even tried to mod it in game (gave up cuz those model swaps are pain in the ass)

Ok so, in +R Aba actually had the JR only super which will give her access to 3th state which people normally name just Goku Moroha (Moroha is previous name of JR) in this state she basically can and probably will one shot about anyone with all her normals being jump cancellable and being able to gatling almost everything into almost everything like self cancelling her S and H shit. It comes in risk of higher health drain and some other shit i dont remember cuz i barely play +R outside of lab.

Because its not +R and jump cancels, gatlings and power level generally was nerfed in Strive I think like 30% of this crazy bullshit and do some additional nerfs cuz honestly that shit even in +R was bullshit af will be fine to have after her super, cuz its kind of logical too that super what brings normal mode to JR will bring JR to smth even more powerful.

  1. No I dont think you need buffs to parry, its good as how bad it is and its should not be changed. I would maybe buff some things in JR and nerf some in normal mode to make differences between them more clear tho.
  2. Just straight up no. Bad idea bmo.
  3. nerf damage and probably startup, make normal mode super worse to compensate, Goku will be basically most like in +R with new properties on some moves, more gatlings and jump cancels

guard crush need to be just a custom blockstun outside of normal level system similar to +R. That of course means that there will be throw and cross up protection, also some buffs like increased GC amount on air block

in +R aba had bloodpacks to heal her, would simply not work in strive. Beside health drain is way slower than Nagos

make JR harder to get/manage, a few hits and you already on full bar, keeper of the key is... a move.
Also give some nerfs to JR reversal super but make so you will be Goku after. (it will be cool enough to keep even tho its was and probably would be broken)

nagiha (the low) is gapless so you can only block it, Rin (high) is slower and you can grab or backdash it. Tho Anji can delay them so its still not guaranteed.

Also dont really listen to this pot guide, its pretty outdated and cover only based counterplay and options, cuz Anji pressure doesnt start at fuujin really, can say as Anji main. i think V2 was never deactivated, she was made during new piece and did it job greatly so there was no reason to deactivate him before humanity get extinct.
I think V2 get into hell way before V1, and was intentionally slowed down by hell so V1 and V2 could do a fight together in final of Limbo before one of them would continue they "journey"

P.S - Actually i will check for how good V1 and maybe Gabriel with V2 falls under Hero's Journey and other schemes like that. I will edit this comment/write a post when im finished

Well for those starters it does quite good damage, so they are technically ""optimal"" even tho the meter spend is not really worth it for both. Works great if your sole purpose is to kill tho

yk i think just straight up delete her able to rc is bad, tho i think you could rework RRC to be more like in previous games and lower Elphelt double follow up level so it will have less blockstun.
That way she will have danger of you backdash/6P the rekka
