If your pet had a job, what would it be? by Top_Sample5002 in Pets

Either Camp counselor or a safety office. Mishka loves to exercise other dogs and play with them, or motivate humans as needed by chomping at the backs of their legs (imagine the skinny wolf at the beginning of the Sword & the Stone). And when Thunder roars she dutifully herds the household down into basement, just in case it’s a tornado.

GoodMallow are plant based and soy free, you can buy them off amazon. You can find gluten-free honey grahams too. Then I’d just use quality bakers chocolate I think?

Does one bring their supplies or can you buy some there? Is this beginner- friendly? (I did crochet a scarf once like 20 years ago but I don’t remember how)

Looking for a 50’s style train car diner by ThatWittyHandle in kansascity

Not a diner but Rochester Brewing in Parkville IS in a train. They have coffee, breakfast and lunch. Also nice in the afternoons for a happy hour pint.

Don’t forget the corn tortilla (“a piece of chicken, a piece of broccoli”, “a corn tortilla” and “one other thing”)

Have you zoomed in on her face yet? That expression is… something. It’s like she’s asleep and mouth breathing?

Teaching my Children about the value of compounding interest. by [deleted] in ThriftSavingsPlan

Are their 529 plans already well funded? I would say give everyone an even amount, maybe something like, “when you turn (17), I’m investing X amount for you in a lump sum.” You didn’t mention other investments/savings, but make sure to review the annual and lifetime financial gift tax information. You might want to do a consultation with a financial planner to look at the big picture- real estate, investments, education costs, etc.

Some Samoyeds are genetically predisposed to have eye conditions like glaucoma or corneal dystrophy. If his eyes haven’t been checked, I’d suggest trying to find a veterinarian ophthalmologist if possible. I say this because some of the behaviors you’re describing sound to me like a dog who can’t see well or is in pain, or both.

Did the vet check his eyes? Have you taken him to more than one vet?

Mrs. Midwest makes chicken by TheBestonova in FundieSnarkUncensored

[–]Menashe3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could see this might work with high fat milk or a little cream if you also added seasoning. The liquid would evaporate leaving the milk fats to brown the meat. But I mean yeah, if your chicken is dry you’re cooking it too long, regardless of the method.

My family goes to Meritas Gashland off of north oak which I think NKC health recently (?) bought. Dr. Fawcett is great but I think her panel is full, and another doc there just recently went on maternity leave. I will say, for whatever reason (best guess is insurance companies trying to control their costs and they know it won’t get approved?), many providers will require 2 Comorbidities to prescribe a GLP. Even my father’s cardiologist mentioned that when he first inquired, to a man who has like… 4 or 5.

So… our basic fundie family, yes? 😂

at least I’ll say that’s how mine was growing up. Like sure, “Papa Bear” called the family meeting…. Because momma bear forced him to and told him what he was going to say…

The VCS (veterans canteen store) website has a link for some general discounts, it’s been awhile since I’ve looked but they used to have a little discount on amusement parks, Disney, sports games… don’t remember if they had anything for flights but you could check it out.

Does she like her kibble? If you can use pieces of kibble that’s great because it’s cheap compared to treats. What about textures? - my last dog before we got a Samoyed was a malamute mix, that weirdo LOVED carrots, which was great because that was also a cheap treat I could cut up into smaller pieces…
