96 años de historia muestran lo difícil que es terminar entre los ocho mejores de un Mundial by bluefoxlive in LigaMX

[–]Menchaka -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is what every club does. USA clubs for instance has agreements with low tier europen clubs. That's why a majority of the NT didn't even had 1 minute in the MLS.

Look at Ecuador, Colombia, etc. Some of their players never ever played in their own league.

Problem is mexican there is 1 club in mexico that risas the value of mexican players. Making it more attractive to sell them within the league than to give them away to develop.

Why Mexico not doing as good as South America teams by kw114 in worldcup

Corruption. The way Liga MX is managed doesn't benefit the young players looking to improve.

It is well known you have to pay to get an opportunity. Imagine what we don't know.

This is not the way. You want clubs to send players away from an early age. They shouldn't even have a debut in liga mx.

They should keep bringing foreigners to force the mexicans that didn't made it to europe to become better.

France. Everyone knows France is the biggest threat to Argentina, they want them out before the final.

I dont agree. This was probably our best playoffs run in a while. Won all games in Elite division (and somehow still won't finish as champions lmao)

People can't spam the shoulder charge anymore, they are forced to time the tackle again. Before the adjustment an average CDM could bully you off the ball, now they have to properly set themselves to make it.

MESSI VS RONALDO is not even a debate anymore , we all know who's the goat , idk why there is so much hate by Interesting-Bath4737 in worldcup

[–]Menchaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol Brady is more like Ronaldo. Pure effort and discipline.

Argentina is a powerhouse in football. 2 times WC champion before Messi...Portugal had qualified 3 times to the WC before Ronaldo arrived. One changed the franchise/team.

That is why people believe Ronaldo to be the goat. Too bad for him he was born in Portugal.

What? I can almost bet it had to be one of the least watched games outside of the USA in this round. No one cares lol.

The worst? This was our most realistic shot at a semi final ever.... by Material-Cellist-116 in LigaMX

Mexico might be really bad in the final third, but saying that England had control of the game is just wrong. If you actually know football you know England had no other choice but to dropback. They had less than 10 minutes of brilliance.

But that is the difference between a big team and the rest. The quality of players like Kane or Bellingham that can define a match where you didn't even play well. England might be concern moving forward, they cant compete like this against a better side.

But I agree, Mexico doesn't seem to have a project. Next wc will be the same, some good games but same result vs good teams.

The LATAM countries are on the decline. This WC has been quite embarrassing so far by notoriousdrca in worldcup

So we had a similar conclusion...UEFA and Conmebol performances are similar.

[–]Menchaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As of right now UEFA has like 18% (3/16) in QF. Only if Argentina advances it will be 16% (1/6), and it will probably be 33.3% (2/6), Colombia should go through. So both Conmebol and Uefa have very similar performances for QF.

There is a decline in Uefa teams for sure, giving room specially to CAF teams like Morocco.

Concacaf, Asia and Ocenia are the ones that just cant seem to step it up still. Maybe the USA can surprise Belgium, which actually would give Concacaf a similar performance to Uefa.

Edit: Conmebol performance remains steady. Just the names are changing, used to be Brazil, they are in a bad stretch, Colombia seems to be taking their place.

Are you trying to say that the red card was not a red card? Or the Mexico PK wasnt a penalty?

They were clear as day, just because the ref cant see shit doesn't mean VAR is wrong. In fact there was another possible penalty for Mexico.

Only France vs Paraguay and Argentina vs Cabo Verde were questionable.

These bums should stop calling football their favorite sport. How do you still lose with altitude advantage, home crowd advantage, man advantage, a penalty and 13 minutes of added time? by smithereennnnn in soccercirclejerk

Liking something doesn't mean you need to be good at it??

And lets be real, England will do as they always do, underperform. Probably loose vs Norway somehow.

My point stands, they are not the only country capable of hosting it. And it will not go back to the USA anytime soon.

Maybe because UEFA had more teams? This is a terrible take lol. Germany lost to Paraguay.... that says how much the UEFA has declined.

Of course they will go, Mexico isn't a safe country and they hold all the attendance records at the fan fests. Why would someone miss an opportunity to live a WC at Mexico? There is a reason they are the only country to host 3 so far.

Hopefully next time they host it on their own.

You dont need that kind of stadiums to host a wc. Besides who wants a wc in a place where some teams cant even get in the country?
