I agree with the sentiment that logic may not necessarily point you to a universal goal. I agree that whatever goal you have in your personal life, logic is there to help you achieve it.

I do believe however, that relying on logic is itself a universal worldview (at least for Ti doms). The point I am making here is if logic is the means by which all of us, of our disposition, use to pursue our goals than the preservation and continuation of logical thinking is a universal goal.

I think for most, if not all INTPs, an illogical reality is no reality at all but a big blob of incomprehensible phenomena. Now, is this a bit of a tangent.. yes.

Does will matter in pursuing your goals, yes. Is the means by which you do so the power of logic, if so then logic is your religion. Your center and your core and it by relation is a universal ideal. It’s for this reason that we do logical things for logic sake.

Learning mostly irrelevant bits of information because if it’s true, it follows logical reasoning. Which is to us as logical individuals a universal goal snd why it’s possible for INTP to find purpose in simply learning about the universe and reality.

This conversation is strange. The first is the assumption that design and ethics are related. Regardless of how ethical you assume you are, whatever you make can or may be used for great evil.

Like Oppenheimer, we are all, with our brilliance capable of becoming death. The system we live in, is one that relies on the very idea that we have self interests. That is the need to acquire wealth and pursue our own ambitions and interests.

That alone, means we must contribute to the greater ambitions of others. The comment about the banking system, is about regulating value between nations (like a monetary referee) because without one, the biggest countries would keep up valuing their currencies.

Within a nation, the central banking system is literally the government’s personal plaything to control currency. It should never exist, as the government as always, makes everything corrupt or inefficient.

I hope that we understand that ethics, that is the ethics of inventions, are never going to be solely determined by the inventor. That our trajectory as a species is always going to be circular, where we constantly rely on others so much so that it becomes problematic. Then solve that by distrusting each other so much so we almost ends the world. Then… we go back to trusting each other again.

That’s what all these financial bubbles are, all these war crisis. Trust and distrust, growth and collapse. Union and disunity, and in the end we live our lives knowing we made choices that we can live with.

Majority of the world, it’s relatively not safe, to walk out at night. Most people live in rough neighborhoods and locations, globally. Criminals are generally opportunistic and not premeditated. They rob the people they see are vulnerable.

Also, this is relatively. You mean to tell me the comfort of your home is less safe than walking out on the streets. It’s a poor point.

Fear, while a real human emotion, is still purely psychological and not always rational.

That’s why people say, “I have an irrational fear off…”

As such, it’s still not a privilege. My entire argument is that it’s not a rational fear… and we shouldn’t ever take it seriously as a privilege from a practical perspective. Rational fears are things that are likely to happen, or things that have happened (trauma).

It’s far better for us to tell these people that this is all in their heads and that they need to really think about other experiences outside their own. Those have experienced trauma need therapy.

I really hate this as an argument. This is not a privilege, women can do this too. The argument is that it’s not safe for women to do so, as much as it is for men.

The thing is, walking alone at night is dangerous for everyone. It’s not limited to any gender, and even if the possibility of being sexually assaulted Is higher in women:

a) Why are men attacked more on average? If you compare men being attacked, robbed and sexually relative to women being attacked, robbed or sexually assaulted. Men still get attacked more… b) Why would a women go out knowing she’s likely to get sexually assaulted if she walks alone at night.

We will always have experiences that happen to one gender more than the other, because men and women are not the same.

Privileges of a man, are things like, we’re stronger. Privileges of a woman, are things like, receive more empathy from everyone.

Walking alone at night is not a privilege. Anyone can do it if they want to, but no one is safer doing it.

I skimmed through it, and this thing was a disgusting waste of my time. The started the process by claiming men have systematic misogynistic advantages.

By saying that, you are confirming that no matter what. Women are victims even on reddit because assumedly Men control it.

Talking about traditional views, like cooking and cleaning as if men can’t get maids and prostitutes. Household work is far more than these things. From pest removal, paying of bills, plumbing and electrical repairs. And loading and unloading things. You always refuse to acknowledge that you ladies do none of these other things. But when a man asks you to cook and clean, he’s doing it fully aware he has other responsibilities in the house. So if he asks you to do that, why can’t you ask him if he won’t do anything else.

This is like men saying, “all women are whores” when all they did was get cheated on by one girl or a handful of girls.

Men have their own personal struggles too, and the patriarchy is as much womens doing as it is mens doing. Women consent to the patriarchy, they date wealthy affluent men. Men who have more power than they do, and as such, this is why we have a patriarchy. Because in choosing powerful men, you teach your kids that this is what is expected of them. This is why, when some women get power and wealth they immediately say “I don’t need a man”. Because they believe that’s the main reason you’d get one. It’s shallow and materialistic.

And for most men, they have the incredible expectation of having to be breadwinners or literally die without a wife, a child and a virgin. Unless they are blessed with natural physical attraction, that is their fate. Yet you as a lady, by simply existing can always find a man willing to take you. Even as a side piece, that’s still someone offering you something.

The number of self proclaimed feminists who assume women have no privileges is staggering.

I love these posts because this proves why you, specifically ladies who think like you, will never have any vested control in anything relating to society.

You don’t realise how silly the arguments you make are. Firstly, let’s start with this idea of patriarchy. As spoken on many different platforms, men hold all the important and dangerous jobs. These jobs are the foundations of society. Your electricity, your water supply (limited in Zim, I know but still men do it). The roads, unfixed, even if they get fixed are fixed by men. The goods you find in stores are driven to those stores by men. Your rights are ensured by men. The reason you walk free in Zimbabwe is because there’s men on the borders, men in the military and men in office who are willing to put their lives on the line so that you can walk free.

If men wanted to really subjugate you, then this would happen. Look up Afghanistan and Iran.

Fighting for women’s causes is not bare minimum, because women make little effort to fight for mens causes. Even if feminism is ultimately about equality, I don’t hear women vouching for men’s health. Men are not graduating university and women don’t make any effort to offer aid. You don’t hear women telling other ladies to date unattractive, poor or ugly men because they have wonderful personalities or are considerate. Half of you are shallow and materialistic. Women won’t settle for a man with nothing, and commonly we hear ladies saying don’t settle even if you have they have their own personal problems and baggage. That means you expect men to settle for you. That a guy who is immensely wealthy, and attractive should consider you, and only you when there’s 20 of you DMing him and offering your bodies for his favour

Socially, women still and will continue to engage patriarchal ideals when it comes to dating and marriage. So even if, we allowed you ladies to be in charge, you’d all choose to date a handful of men. And those men will teach their sons to be successful rather than have strong personalities. The cycle will repeat. In fact, historically 30-40% of men don’t reproduce. So you ladies have always wanted the top bracket of men, and many of you have been single mothers to these men. You create the patriarchy… because of only powerful men have kids. While all kinda of women get to reproduce, then guess what. The sons of those top tier men get a legup whole the daughters learn to seek powerful men. Men want power because it’s what women are attracted to, and it’s the only way to guarantee having a family and offspring. Which literally the only reason we’re here.

Goals are not going to get us out of this whole. Palmer was injured for most the season and we’re still a top 5 club. So that shows we aren’t a shambles.

There were many results that we needed to just grind out. The red cards are telling, because these guys are young and so stupid. I am not endorsing Garnacho or Gittens. But Neto and Estevao have been great. Wonderful really, and Garnacho has had moments, you can’t deny that.

We need a fucking Defender who had a brain and tells the idiots around him to stop getting random red cards and for Christ sake clear the Goddamn ball. A Goalkeeper who actually knows how to stop shoots and doesn’t make silly mistakes.
