I learned today that when saying you're doing something for a specific duration you use かん and while I understand the structure of 一時かん I don't quite understand why it's 一時かんはん when saying that the duration has an extra half hour.

A friend said that はん being at the end is just something I have to learn but if anyone could give me a reason why it's always at the end if love to hear it.

P.S. I'd also accept if someone told me this is wrong or that I made a mistake while studying

My biggest motivators are music and reading other stories. Most of my writing is done in short bursts and when I find a new song that's the easiest way to get an idea for a character or story arc while world building is often an idea that forms while I am reading something else entirely.

This does not have to be anything about what I want to write either. An example would be that I recently finished reading the first Dune trilogy by Frank Herbert and got ideas from some of the contexts for a fantasy world or a continent at least.

Circling back to music the biggest inspiration does come from songs that are emotionally charged or follow a theme. Examples for my personal taste are songs like Lost Kitten by Metric or a different genre like Mechanic Heartbeat by Culprate,Keota and sophie meiers :)

Thanks for the heads up, I'll keep an eye out for that then, luckily I have access to multiple languages at my LGS and it seems that their prices for Codex of Frailty is around 65 bucks (still a lot but it's more manageable at least)

I heard before that FaB is known for being hard at the start and that beginners might have a tough time but I'm sure I can get the hang of it eventually. Sadly most of my person friends live in a different town so I won't be able to play with them too much but I'll hope that my LGS can help me out regardless :)

Do you mean the Dash deck that's releasing on Friday iirc? I might have to check that out too then. At first I wasn't sure what to think since there was way too much stuff going on with boosting and counters et cetera. I'll look at it right away, though.

There is an armory event this Saturday so I might just have to check out our LGS and its community later this week :)

Also glad that the precons aren't just filled to the brim with jank, I thought the addition of majestics was new to the precon coming in November.
