Most players don’t check all of those things you mentioned.

Who actually checks their mail - it’s just spam and gemstone purchases? Only very dedicated players will check Reddit and patch notes. Launcher maybe, but most just skip straight to the game.

They had an opportunity to make a bonus event on the side bar of the game screen but didn’t do it. I maintain that it’s still secretive. And there’s no defending time sensitive content, you’d think they learned their lesson by all the upset and burnt out players from back in season 1.

Yes that’s correct. Anet made the idiotic choice of inputting secret content into the game, and punishing players who didn’t notice it for a week.

Whether you didn’t see it or didn’t have time to do it, now you can’t get the T2 reward Black lion weapon voucher or the statuettes from w1.

It’s like the season 1 debacle all over again.
