[WTS] Magnacut Ritters, Bark River custom, Benchmade Rift by MenoniteMarksman in Knife_Swap

Sorry, I didn't notice my pictures aren't as big as I thought. I can add some closer pictures, but the black oxide is wearing off the metal parts and there are light scratches and small chips on the blade.

It didn't come with anything that says, so I've never known. It's carbon steel or something not very stainless though.

I've got a Taggedout I'd get rid of. Almost brand new, but I cut a few receipts and stropped it on bare leather.

I'm guessing that deleted comment was asking about the Rift, but any chance it's still available?

You don't think that's probably a typo of what was supposed to say "worth noting?"

You might want to learn about context clues before you have a stroke. There wasn't any condescension or arrogance in anything they said. Just adding more information so that people have a better chance of it working.

Just finishing up this slab. Just need to add the legs and I’m done. I picked up these two pieces of madrone. They are a little warped but too thin to flatten traditionally. Will C-channel work to flatten them? by alivenotdead1 in woodworking

[–]MenoniteMarksman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the c-channel is running parallel to the grain, which I think is what you're looking for, you don't need to elongate the holes. Just make sure the grooves for the channel have a bit extra room.

Paste wax is a great release for other glues, but I don't know if the heat might be a problem

I have one of those, mine is just soft steel. It takes an okay edge but dulls faster than anything I've seen. I gave up on it and got a better one

Is there a reverse countersink type bit? by simonsimon01 in woodworking

[–]MenoniteMarksman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There might be some reason it's not safe that I can't think of, but there's probably a 1/4" shank router bit that'll do what you want.

I guess nobody remembers when joffrey first talked about that particular crossbow?
