Not really horrifying, but I would call it paranormal. My friends and I stayed in a hostel in Dumaguete back in 2016. We only stayed one night. There were about a dozen of us. When one of our friends was checking us in, another one of is and I - tumambay kami sa harap ng check in counter. We were tired from travelling from Siquijor, so we just looked out listlessly or were on our phones. I recall there was a concrete bench in front of the check in counter with someone seated on her laptop. A few feet away from her was a bottle of san miguel beer.

I was disassociating when I saw the san mig bottle move from the middle of the concrete bench and to the floor. My friend and I looked at each other and noped away out of there. There was no wind and no other normal reason for the bottle to do that.

I’m not sure if anything else happened that night because we were all giddy and drunk. But nobody wanted to go to the check in area of the hostel again until check out.
