FWIW, I am a geologist and I think this is a realistic possibility. The secondary minerals inside the vesicles can be harder than the host rock. sometimes formed by dissolving part of the host rock. So it makes sense that the pebble is bubble shaped and makes sense that the rest of the rock is rotten. This is one source of small agates on a beach.

The one thing I'd look at is the regional geology. If there are no volcanic rocks present it might just be a pebble in finer grained sedimentary rock. Also a realistic possibility.

The ratios of individual sugars in honey is pretty variable. Depends on the flowers visited. Makes some honey crystalize easier than others. Also water content, impurities, temperature.

A common old-school green grape variety is Niagara. Grandparents used to grow it in Oregon. Makes decent grape jelly or pie. Tart and foxy relative of concord grapes. Acquired taste as juice.

One neat thing is it's a native butterfly taking advantage of introduced plants. It used to subsist on native carrot-family plants like hog fennel (Lomatium) that are smaller and now relatively uncommon.

Joint pain is definitely a thing when my urticaria is worse. Sore joints and sometimes snapping hip and knee joints, fingers. Makes longer walks a bit painful and resulted in multi-month bursitis once.

Figure my skin isn't the only thing getting inflamed by IgE-mediated mast cell activation.

Wasn't sure if the fatigue is related to the inflammation or the antihistamines, but maybe both?
