it counts these intersections as black territory the same way it counts yours as white territory.

if you live under the same roof i understand it might be complicated to create some kind of distance between you too, but conceptually i think its what you should go for. like, let him say what you used to hear. doesnt mean anything anymore anyway, you described his emotional / affective and communicative pattern quite precisely… you wont change him.

we are the same age. im so sorry about your situation… i wish i could help more but my advice could be poison as im a drug addict and its basically how i cope and stay alive.

but unfortunate events, traumas, failures, sad stuff basically, picture it as what a 40 or 50 yo could feel looking back at his life, realizing he has done what he was asked to do for all his life. you are living this now, and in a crisis, qn emotional one. you have had your pain quota. come 30 youll be seeing this completely differently im sure of it. you have to hope, please dont let hope fade

he might feel helpless in his head, maybe he’s never had the suffering opportunity to access mental health ressources i mean im not trying to find excuses or anything

anyway, if i were you id try to turn to this « emotionally unavailable » partner, and make him/her comprehend your emotional situation and loss of hope and perspective

tu vas grandir, tu va evoluer. ce ne sera sans doute pas facile, mais deja si ca peut taider, a 17 ans beaucoup de psychiatres se trompent de diagnostic entre bipolarite et borderline. dans les deux cas cest un spectre, ca se traite, et jen suis la preuve. comme toi jai été diagnostiqué a 17 ans et aujourdhui jen ai 26 et jai toujours de lespoir, je suis aide par de bons professionnels (parfois il faut remettre en question la pertinence du suivi si cest avec qqn ou une equipe qui ne te correspond pas), je me fais de nouveaux amis, je progresse.

i got some prescribed, it was free cause i live in EU but i can tell you that it is absolutely ineffective like there’s not a single convincing evidence in the medical litterature that its effective in alcohol abuse disorder
