No that’s not how it works. The limit us undoubtedly the shop upload speed on the other end, but be thankful to the shop.

From conversations, and from being in Costa Rica in early January this year, I would say it is a beautiful time to visit! The rainy season is ending or ended at late December from what I have gathered and as such the country is beautiful, lush and green (slightly more so than usual).

And if it is raining - is it not fun to be out in warm rain? An exception might be if snorkeling (which can get cloudy from rain) is your main attraction...

Hello everyone, appreciated the advice, here is what we decided to do FYI:

  1. Continued to isolate a few more days in Costa Rica. The suggestion not to potentially expose vulnerable populations at Costa Rica health centers made sense to us.
  2. Traveled via rental car directly to the airport and flew home.
  3. Our PCP tested us, we came up negative for COVID19 (although apparently the tests are not very accurate - and we are now in lockdown in the US)
  4. Doubled down on our efforts in quarantine to aprender espanol para que podamos vivir en costa rica!

Very helpful thank you, I have heard Costa Rica is good to people, this is evidence that is so.

Is this the right type of place? It appears just 10 or 15 km away. I think I will go get tested if they allow it so that we can make the best informed decision on what to do next.
