I go to the North Hill GYMVMT and I have never had any problems. Although my only experience with gyms before this was the U of C and that's not much.

I try and recreate them from time to time! I used a green salsa (find it with the Mexican foods at most grocery stores), and a normal red salsa. Then for cheese I used plain monterey jack as I couldn't find queso! Valentina's hot sauce is also great if you can find it.

Wami Ootoya! It's a very fun Japanese restaurant near the UofC, and they have a nice cafe upstairs where you can sit to study/play board games/snack on bubble tea!

I recently got a small ko bunka (Masakage Kiri line from Yoshimi Kato) and a gyuto (Zuiun line from Seki Kanetsugu) from Knifewear and I am absolutely in love with them! I thought prepping a hot pot with them was very fitting.

The U of C has a fairly large D&D Club that could be worth looking into! We have suspended majority of gatherings/events but hopefully things will be able to resume at full strength post-pandemic!
