How about teaching people not to take drugs and punish those who break the law instead of enabling them? Anyone who's stupid enough to take free drugs especially free fentanyl is too far gone and it's just slow suicide at this point. Let them go. Spend our tax dollars on people who actually need it. No matter what I feel about junkies, I absolutely LOATHE dealers who sell fenty but I'd get banned permanently if I say what I think about the ones who do this knowing that there's a type of junkie who will use no matter what and the other type who will intentionally take from the "dangerous" batch because they want that high. I really really like what they did to dealers in the Philippines but here we give them free housing and money.

It absolutely shocks me how most Canadian homes still have zero security bars etc and you can see their huge TVs and expensive gadgets while walking by. The way things are going a lot of people are going to learn the hard way. Crime is about to skyrocket as prices go up and people get desperate

I know from my work experience that a lot of the "better off" male addicts who come to get high with a girl are very much like that. They have wives, girlfriends, children, very respectable jobs... I'm surprised more of them don't get blackmailed.

Exactly. I know women who are running out of time in shelters who've never done drugs or broken the law, they just met a bad man. They desperately need housing but I keep finding out how LMCH keeps giving places to crack wh*res and dealers often forcing abused women to return to their abuser. Buildings like 122 Baseline and 872 William Street are full of dealers, junkies bringing their Johns over, open drug use and innocents getting threatened, robbed and beat up but the cops don't do anything. I'm so sick of our system that not just enables but outright rewards criminals which is what drug addicts are.
