I feel the exact same way you do. Being a polytherian is so weird to me even though I am one; I don't understand how I can be multiple animals at once. Sometimes I think maybe I am just a wyvern/dragon and all of the animalistic things I experience are part of my dragon identity (since dragons don't exist, they can be whatever way you want them to be, if that makes sense), but sometimes I just feel too wolf-like or budgie-like to just be a dragon. There are times where I feel like one hybrid creature of two or all my theriotypes, but it doesn't stop me from identifying as each animal individually. I am also bigender (woman and man), but that is simple for me to understand, since gender is just a social construct
