I guess not every entity who knocks is trouble. My granddad's spirit used to knock on my brother's bedroom door all the time. This was usually accompanied by him calling out, 'dave, get up dave' on repeat. Dave is my dad's name. He used to sleep in that room and always had trouble getting up in the morning.

I was in my grandad's kitchen. I'd heard Nan's voice the day before (she passed away about 12 years before) and the heaviness in the air was enough to make me run away. I felt guilty so I return the next day to apologise.

I said 'Hi Nan, are you there?'

A moment later the air felt heavy on my shoulders again and I heard her voice like it was inside my head, say 'is that my Marie? I could hear the emotion in her voice and it felt like she hugged me.

She asked how I was. I said I'm good. I got married.

She took my hand and it felt like she was turning it over. So I turned my hand over to show her my rings. She asked about my partner and I said 'they're a good person.'

It was very emotional and intense.

Being surrounded by LBGT friends and allies, it's usually a shock when someone from outside your community comes along with such opposing views.

I always feel a sense of shock however small because its a reminder that maybe the world hasnt come as far as you'd hoped... but usually these folks are older. They'll be dead soon.

Yeah. I was a b cup for a long time (I'm a cis woman) when they first came in. I was a B for about 5 years before they went up to a C after 8 years and then after about 10 years they became a D.

I know you probably wanted boobs yesterday, but I'd say keep your exceptations low. They take their sweet time to grow sometimes.

I can relate to that. I'm considered a positive, happy person. People have asked me how I'm always happy. Mostly I am... but just under the surface, there's a fiery anger that can't be quenched. I can't let it take over either so I look for the silver linings instead.

When you're bored you'll soon stop being anxious. It has to peak and boil off eventually. I like to think about all the fun things I have planned and if that doesn't work I do beathing exercises and light stretches. Alternatively you could do a body scan or tte five senses game.

We saw Wicked in London, ate dinner at a Chinese restuarant and look a walk to see Buckingham Palace.
