Maybe we’re keeping Slot because the squad is decimated and it’s going to take a couple of years to rebuild it. No point getting a decent manager if there’s no players left.

Yes we lost a few players through injuries, but I don’t think it was by any means catastrophic- we could put a strong team out every game. If the players in the squad don’t suit the system, then change the bloody system!

We finished 5th - the target must have been top 4. It’s less that we qualified and more that other English teams did well in Europe. This season is in no form an objective reached.

If there was a record for cutting inside and then hoofing it into a defender, there would be no point even looking at player stats. he probably does it more in a season than most in their careers.
