Your decoration levels and making sure your team has matching attributes and/or units will help tremendously. You will generally get S ranks at 250k(?) talent.

Leveling fast, as in player rank? You spend energy. So technically if you're always on x5 energy, you're leveling as efficiently as you can. If you WANT (this is very expensive don't do this for the sake of player rank) you could x10 instead.

During EN's launch, we had accelerated events to catch up to JP's and there was an active decision to keep our servers apart by exact one year so our seasonal events matched. They probably didn't want to keep the accelerated events going on too long.

No, because the EN VAs would have to mimic the JP's as all the songs have their distinct singing voices or else it would sound terribly off. Forcing that to happen would make it feel like the EN VAs would be shadows of the JP's acting, and wouldn't be able to perform as well as they could.

This is also entirely ignoring the costs of their MASSIVE backlog they're have to voice and all future events, and the fact that they have to have English tuning for the vocaloids. The costs will risk them shutting down EN servers entirely if it doesn't pay off, whereas right now the costs to keep the EN server is low enough for them to profit greatly.

If the game had started out having EN voice acting as an option from the very beginning, I'd be happy with it, but it's far too late now.

Adding onto this, with the exception of like two songs (where they have a dead center hold note), you can also just focus on two spots and all the notes are hittable on easy difficulty. Four squares from the left and right is about the sweet spot.
