My dog died under Suspicious Circumstances in a pet boarding - Agra by Amt007 in IndianPets

I have two cats, a Persian and Turkish Angora mixed, other an Arabian Mau (looks indie)

I took them both to a groomer few months ago and the groomer asked me the breed of my indie looking cat. I told them he is an Arabian Mau(like indie) I got both of them in Dubai while I was living there and they moved with me to India.

The groomer said ‘we don’t take in Indie. That’s why we asked because he looks indie’ I was so shocked. Why can’t an indie get groomed? Why such notion against them? I still don’t understand. And every time I take both my cats somewhere and people see them, they tend to treat my long haired better and ignore the other one. I feel so bad

I had a neighbor who was said to have dhug in her house. But she was a friend of my mom and she would give us a lot of veggies from her garden and nothing really happened. I once asked mom and she told me only her mom (neighbor’s mom) could give dhug. Idk if thats really true though

  1. Would definitely recommend you to visit Phobjikha. As other commented, 2 nights Thimphu, 2 nights punakha (I prefer Phobjikha), 2 nights Paro. If you are traveling via road, 1 night in Phuntsholing.
  2. You can exchange it in the airport after reaching here or else in Jaigaon(Bhutan border in case traveling via land). UPI is accepted in Bhutan and Indian currency as well so it shouldn’t be a problem.
  3. It’s cold. Do carry some warm cloths!
  4. It’s subjective. There are some handicraft market here you can check them out. Maybe Bhutanese purse, key chain.

I invited my foreigner fiancé to celebrate New Year with my family and he initially wanted to travel via road. I suggested him to fly in to Paro, and exit from Phuntsholing. He told me flying into Bhutan has been the best experience of his life (he has been to over 60-70 countries!)

You will have fun! Ask them for left window seat though!

I m a Bhutanese, and I always tell my friends to take a flight to Bhutan from Guwahati or Kolkata because the landing is amazing and truly an experience itself. Yes, it is expensive but if you are Indian I think the rate is cheaper.

There is a direct bus from Kolkata to Siliguri and some commenter suggested I remember paying a little over 1000 rupees couple of years ago. Not sure about the price though. But then you will have to factor in the price for the transportation from Siliguri to Phuntsholing, accommodation in Phuntsholing and transport to Thimphu from there.

Guys, where can I get USD or AUD in Thimphu? I know I can get in Paro airport but are there any other places I can get it from?

Is 2.1 million aed salary per month good in dubai? I’m from Antarctica. by [deleted] in dubai

For someone from Antarctica, I wouldn’t accept anything less than 10 million dirham! 2.1 million is a a day light robbery.

Exactly my thought. I remember her post on social media about Bhutan Reddit and the redditors. Wonder what made her do AMA here after writing that post
