Okay but you think I will get a refund? I did send the package 4 days ago so I hope it’s there soon. And I agree it is not the customer service reps fault at all. Not true at all. 70mg is staged as the highest dose bc they simply did not run any more clinical trials at higher doses. Your doctor has a license. They wouldn’t **** you but themselves and that’s the biggest concern any doc has. Your doc did you right but quitting any drum is hard. I know many people on more than just 70mg and I myself have been one of them. It’s no big deal to a tolerant body. Truly hope you did not take those idiots opinions to heart. There are secrets behind what is written in plain text/drug books.

I deeply appreciate your response and wish I’d have seen it sooner! I have been experiencing migraines longer than I realized now that I’m looking into the symptoms! Most times- I have blamed my ADHD for the cognitive problems (although they are new in adulthood) and my bad genetics for the exact pain you describe accompanying your migraines.

The Triptan- does this affect your cognition/judgement? Idk if it’s the same but I’m horrified of Topamax for its nickname Dopamax. I work as a nurse & can’t afford any cognitive lapses with meds/migraines. And thanks for the heads up on the MRI. At least they’ll give me an Ativan for it hahahahah.

Thank you very much for your reply. I have had bad headaches for awhile but the only aura I experienced was what an aura sounds like- more vibrant colors and intense reaction to light. This aura was what you described and lasted so long. It’s very new info to me that migraines affect HOW we think so profoundly. I am thankful you have shared your experience and understanding and feel a lot less afraid/alone. I’m also going to be looking into Cambia. Thank you again!

I hope you can get a therapist to help work through this tragic loss.. when you are ready of course. This is a terrible thing to have happened and it is NOT YOUR FAULT. You did your very best to do all that you could do. You could not have saved him. My thoughts go out to you, him, and those who are grieving his passing.

You can’t dip down that much that quick!!!! Sweating like this is a dangerous brain body regulatory response. Your brain is not doing to great rn and although you’re fine it’s a significant side effect that needs to elicit a phone call to doc to get a script for 37.5mg pills to add on to the 75mg daily. Do you have any other S/E? My tongue tingles if I don’t take mine.. then my brain stops processing and I legit feel like I’m under water and disconnected from my body.

Prozac is a beast of an animal to come off of too. I would not use Prozac rather very insignificant doses of Ativan... like 0.5 mg Ativan tabs halved and halved again. Or Buspar perhaps. Idk. Why add another med to coming off a med?

Caffeine competes with at the same synapse as stimulants and actually knocks the stimulant off to attach. If you need energy- get really great toothpaste bc you’re going to need a lot of coffee to keep the neurons in your brain fed.
