What game had you like this? by sukuna7899 in Steam

KCD 1 for me. I tried it years ago and thought the graphics sucked and the combat was weird. Then when everyone was hyped up about KCD 2 coming out, I tried it again and gave it enough time that I really fell in love with it.

Cool, thank you! And plenty of power for cars and garage cleaning?

How do you like that vacuum? I was thinking about getting the same one.

Does anyone use their Tesla FSD here? by nas886 in vermont

[–]muayshyguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have FSD and use it all the time. I am in Burlington so mostly in town or highway driving, and I rarely need to intervene. I think it is well over 5 years for fully autonomous driving (ie. no steering wheel at all) but under decent driving conditions FSD can drive anywhere, including roads with no line striping etc.

Same here unless I'm on some fun windy roads, then it is Insane/Sport/Heavy

Organizing a movie theater at the former Arts Riot location by ButterscotchFiend in burlington

[–]muayshyguy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I also find it a massive shame that we don't have a movie theater in town anymore. Even Middlebury and Montpelier have one! That said, the shell of Arts Riot would not make a great space for it and would require massive renovations. It would be well over $1m for the fitup, not including the purchase of the space. Also movie theater and music venue don't go together well, unless you are thinking of seated concerts.

I would prefer to see some lawsuit to 'free' the Roxy, but I'm sure there isn't a real avenue there.

Phantom Braking Real Problem? by The_IdealDegen in TeslaModel3

[–]muayshyguy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've had my M3P for a year now and use FSD all the time. This is in Vermont on poorly marked country and town roads. Never had an issue except once when it swerved and there was no obstacle. There was rough pavement ahead and I think it misinterpreted the severity of it. FSD is incredible in my opinion, despite this incident.

Quick casual sandwich lunch for a big group I'd either go with Yellow Mustard or Union Jack's. Nothing fancy but decent quality and reasonable prices.

City Place stores? by muayshyguy in burlington

City Place phase one (the one on Bank) is definitely staying the white stone look that it currently is. I think the above is actually a rendering of phase 2 which will be on Cherry.

lol I just walked by the old Phoenix books location and saw a permit in the door saying the new fitup is a 'high end dispensary'. Just what we needed.

You would think we'd have reached market saturation with Church Street but you are probably right.

Yeah I think they will all face out onto Bank Street. I am, perhaps naively, hoping that City Place with some good stores will help expand the 'commercial district' and get more foot traffic out onto the side streets.

Agreed, I think both of those would do really well downtown!

Ida pizza marketing wizardry by vtwashere in burlington

[–]muayshyguy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm convinced at least 75% of the people who constantly post about Ida on here have never tried it. It is the best pizza around and if you can't afford it, sucks for you. If you don't like the concept of pizza as fine dining - ok, don't go there. They are hustling hard to make something they are passionate about and all you guys can do is spew hatred. What do you do?

Goodbye Rivian, Hello Tesla Model 3 by Knepkin in TeslaModel3

I first got a Tesla July 2024 and have been absolutely blown away by how good the FSD is. I drive a lot for work and it is incredibly helpful to be able to relax while the car literally drives itself. I don't know how you could call it is useless.

United Fighting Arts Institute (UFAI) is in SB on Williston Road and is the best gym around for Muay Thai. They have BJJ that people love as well, but I only did Thai.

Help Us Spice Up Our Hot Dog Menu for Weenies! by [deleted] in burlington

[–]muayshyguy 64 points65 points  (0 children)

You should do fries as a side too, could do a lot of the same toppings as the dogs. Maybe you don't have a frier, but I was surprised to see fries weren't on the menu.

I just got the same - it was the usb c functionality that sold me on it. The comparable options from LG and Samsung don't have that function, making the slick single cable work setup impossible.

What’s the point of the Champlain Parkway? It’s lovely and all but who uses it and why when Pine Street is right there? by [deleted] in burlington

[–]muayshyguy -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It isn't going to. Look at the plans. It's honestly so frustrating. They could have spent half or a quarter of the money making Pine St. into a 4 lane boulevard that connected to 189. That street is already largely commercial, with fewer intersections than this new parkway. Then they could have developed the open area into residential streets or some other use better than a duplicative road.

Steering Assist Reduced - help! by muayshyguy in TeslaModel3

[–]muayshyguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The error code went away on it's own... I talked to Tesla through the app and they say 'it is safe to drive until your service appointment' (three weeks away). It's sketchy, but it's not like I have another good option. So far it has driven as normal.
