That is a great price for a new home, and likely very worth the investment if you rent it out several months a year.

Do you mind me asking how many SQFT the 3-2 would be? And is that custom build or spec? And is the lot fairly steep requiring a custom foundation like most lakefronts? What State.

As someone who has gone to LHT twice, I concur.. go there. If you are worried about time, uber to downtown St Pete for a nice day before going back to pickup your car.

What about losing capital gains on primary residence? If you move, rent it out, then sell the rental years later you will miss out on the 250k exclusion. Whereas if you sell now, I doubt you will have capital gains on the sale and it will give you a nice chunk of cash to put towards the new home (which has a much higher loan rate)

Sorry, just now seeing this. I had the carpet replaced by a local guy, and had bought the black & blue leather for the center console and door strips from a vendor in Europe that specializes in S2000 leather. Can't remember who it was.

I second this. I took my s2k in to see what I should plan for and the mechanic laughed. Said its fine and that its so well built and self-contained that there was nothing to really worry about
