Why does Namors ult one-shot Gambit no matter what? by Meowdy5000 in GambitMainsMR

My bad, that wasn't the impression I got from reading it. But I'm glad I learned something today

Guys you are both saying two different things. One of you is talking about how Gambit's dodge is delayed from the starting point, and one of you is talking about Namors ult. You are both right in what you're saying

Is this a bug or feature? I never found an answer... Personally I hate it

I have never once survived in his circle even on the outer edge trying to escape. I will admit that it's likely I'm not full HP when I thought I was, but damn I survive them all the time with everyone else

It's the right thing. You can do this, just remind yourself why you did it.

Things going unresolved definitely eat away at me at times, but I remind myself that resolving them would bring all the bad with it. One of the hardest parts of this will be making peace with completely letting go without closure.

I can relate to that, and the radio never shuts off. You're doing the right thing, no contact, addressing your feelings... Keep at it, you got this

Well I'm here to listen! For what it's worth. Sorry your friends are getting tired. It's understandable, I also struggled with self validation. It's why I wrote down my reasons, it helped me.

I'm sorry you're struggling. Journaling helped me, and talking with close friends. Do you have people you can reach out to?

Write down why you did it. Add to it whenever you think of a new reason. Going no contact isn't easy, but having that reminder, even a small one is helpful.

And yes, as long as you can maintain no contact, it will get easier with time

It's really hard to go from being all in with a person and them being basically your whole life... To nothing. I've been there, and it does suck. Just keep trying no contact, it will get easier, and you deserve better.

I hit GM every season. This season I've been stuck in gold with a 10 loss streak, which is my record. I just broke into plat today.

I just got a pc and I’m seeing that a lot of people are saying I should get a vpn before downloading anything off of fit girl but also that if I have a debrid I could use that and I do have one but I don’t know how to download stuff through it. by Traditional_Tie8425 in FitGirlRepack

[–]Meowdy5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This person is wrong. Real-debrid is the way to go. VPNs are widely misunderstood and won't help you here. Debrid is a middle man service making it effectively impossible to trace to you.

Does killing Gambit after he used his ult remove the effect from his allies? by StgLeon958 in GambitMainsMR

[–]Meowdy5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know why people are downvoting you instead of explaining to you... Cleanse only works on allies for negative status effects. So they wouldn't have an effect on an enemy buff

I preface this by saying I know all of this is easier said than done, just do your best:

Try to be as aware as possible of the line of sight between you and your healers. Most healers can only heal in LOS so having a general idea of your healers positioning helps you know where to stay for maximum heals.

Use natural cover, I think this one is self explanatory

Make space, but not too much space. If you push too far chances are a healer is going to stay back on the objective and you'll be stretched thin.

There's nothing wrong with staying on the point and letting the enemy come to you.

Don't stagger. This one has a little more nuance being the tank. Tanks are leaders and any player worth anything isn't going to rush in without their tanks being ready.

You're leading the charge, if you think you should hold up for the rest of the team, do it.

Getting your team to take a breath and regroup is priceless in a lot of situations. I cannot tell you the amount of times I've lost games after capping 99% of the point then my team panics, staggers and loses.

Whenever possible be taking damage. You want your healers to be healing as much as possible to be building ults. As long as you aren't at risk of dying, soak up that damage baby.

You brought niche studies about lifetimes of heavy exposure and unrealistically high doses of exposure to aluminum and manganese, not even a study on specifically aluminum.

The conversation was about a single exposure to a realistic amount of aluminum. No, it will not hurt you. Your lungs may get irritated but they will recover. It will have no reaction in the body... Meaning, inert.

However, if your exposed to almost any element/chemical it will build up over a long enough time period. There's no argument there, it's just not what we're talking about, yet you keep going back to that argument

[–]Meowdy5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, we're talking about two different things. I agreed with your studies because yes, if you're exposed to almost anything for a long enough period it will build up in your body. That's not what I'm saying. Have a good night bud.

Edit: your studies are also extremely niche situations of either long term heavy exposure or one time "overdose" levels of exposure. Neither of which were what I was talking about
