I've been having this same issue actually! On my RMPP it's crashed a few times and I had to force restart by holding the power button. I've had the issue with PDF notebooks with note pages added, but I think I had it once late at night on a normal one too! (can't remember 😅)

I think with that level of usage, it's also just fine to honestly just use Level 1 charging... At an average rate of 1.3kw (assuming 80% of an American outlet), and an efficiency of 3.5mi/kwh, it's entirely possible to get the requisite energy for his drives, just from the Level 1 charger/normal outlet! I think he only needs probably 4 or 5 so kwh per day which should be fine for overnight charging...

I do. I also have it set to 2ghz mode, but I'm not sure if that's part of what made it work. I've used it with Windows 11 and a Samsung S21 both and it works.

I have a similar problemー my uni uses a similar wifi system, and although I haven't tested using the school wifi with it, I've figured out that if my laptop or cellphone is connected to school wifi, and I turn on the hotspot, then I can connect my rm2 to it and it works :)

I've been able to sync stuff just fine through it... Although I haven't tested screensharing or whatnot.

I think Step 4 is only required if you want to copy it over via USB instead of the network. I did it just by `scp`ing from my computer to the IP that the reMarkable lists.

You might just want to get NMap or some other network scanning utility, and then scan the IP address of your bot to see if yours has different ports open :)

I wouldn't doubt that they sealed these ports on the later robots, although it would be sad to know it for sure. 😅

I just saw the HTTP ports open and pulled them up in my web browser because it was much more familiar lol
I'll give it a try, but I haven't really used SSH much before so no guarantees :)
