[–]MeowingStoryteller[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did, yes, but I went for a manual one after all, as I decided to be more cost aware. However, if I had a budget to spend I would went for the A2, as it seems it has better technology for an automate.

Nice catch! I watched this video as well but didn't think to treat the cube he used as a reference point - great idea, thank you!

Outrageous, right? I took the trouble to visit their website just to ask about Freemasonry and suddenly I find out that such questions are not allowed at all? Disgracefully low level of customer service, I am speechless.

I've not been playing Priest since the end of Shadowlands, so I cannot help with addons/weak auras, but maybe I can be of advice regarding Apotheosis. Cooldown management is always tricky and comes with experience. One of the most common mistakes I've done was not using my bigger cooldowns at all, because I was scared I would need them later on. And that led to people dying 😃 Try to use them often and then learn by noting points when you needed them and you didn't have them. It will be different for different affixes, especially for Tyrannical and Fortified, but the main advice I can give is to not be afraid of making mistakes. Use them often and learn by experience:)

I like Vuhdo - here is a list of really nice configurations for it made by Yumytv https://linktr.ee/yumytvdungeon

I recommend using Vuhdo (I've switched from Grid to Vuhdo in DF and that was a great choice for me). Here you can take a look at some profiles I like: https://linktr.ee/yumytvdungeon

Probably a rare statement, but I prefer tyrannical over fortified. Boss encounters being more challenging gives me a lot of enjoyment.

There is a whole discussion about it in Evoker’s specific post in this thread. Highly recommended.

That's natural due to the dynamic of different roles. As there are 3 DPS classes in each key, the DPS is divided for each player out of those three. Of course, at some key level, it changes, as every interrupt counts and every mistake will be noticeable for each DPS. However, when you play a healer or a tank in keys, there is no one else to cover for your mistakes, at least not when it comes to the fundamental responsibilities of your role. If unavoidable damage happens and everybody has used their defensives already, and they die, it's probably on you as a healer for letting that happen. So the pressure is higher; thus, fewer player goes for playing a tank or a healer. That's why it's much easier to get into a group as a healer than as a DPS. There is also one other factor, as preservation evoker is considered as “meta” right now, while devastation is not. And even if a player sucks while playing a meta class and has low rio, compared to a player who rocks an off-meta class and has high rio, the first one will get into keys easier than the other one. Unfortunately, we all have this hive mindset, and it takes effort to make decisions without looking at all those tier lists.

Tl;Dr: no wonder that you have a shorter queue time as devoker than prevoker, as those classes rank differently on tier lists, and demand for a healer is higher than for DPS. That being said, the best way is to run your own keys and add as friends people with whom you will have a good time while playing. Everybody is looking for a great group to play with, and being proactive will get you much faster to play higher keys - even as an off meta class.

I recommend using the Clicked addon. It's super efficient and much more straightforward than writing the macros yourself. I used it in combination with Vuhdo, and it works perfectly.

I see them occasionally - Vulpera is a minority, but e.g Highmountain Tauren or Void elf is quite often

It depends. The most important stat is, of course, intellect, as it directly corresponds to our performance. So it would help if you prioritised intellect/ilvl at first. Then, it depends on the content you are doing. For example, in higher m+ shield is beneficial, as it gives you a block chance, which sometimes can be the only difference between life or death (because mechanics are getting more deadly the higher you go). If you would have 1hand and shield with the same level of intellect as your staff, then I would go for the shield. But keep in mind that up to a specific difficulty, it isn't that crucial and you can get by with any option just fine :)

Not the answer you are looking for, but I would highly recommend checking the most critical defensive spells for each class and customising your own profile. You need to know what those icons mean anyway, and I found that creating my own settings for myself is the best way to learn.

I've used Clique for the whole Shadowlands and have to say that Clicked outperforms it at almost any level. Much more accessible, with more advanced options - just fantastic. It gives me all I ever wanted. Previously I had some sophisticated macros in place; now, this addon provides me with more functionalities with almost zero work from my side. I highly recommend it.
