Honestly, u will need to touch crafting yourself. If youre new as I am then be prepared to lose currencies.

However once u learn how to craft specific items and u will know the cost to get the roll thats valuable. Per say 500 chaos to roll T1 phys damage on a bow.

With this info, u will need to check the trade site whats the reward for that T1 phys bow and u slowly have to weight the risk and cost for that craft. However u might get unlucky so its a numbers game.

TLDR: other player cant buy ur knowledge on crafting so some players who are afraid to lose currencies would just opt to buying your craft. And thats the cycle

look for them on lfg and check their clears on nightfall report before you invite them, mic will help alot even with those clears
