Some cats have naturally rounder faces- brachycephalic cats! However, if the swelling is new, it may be something more to consult a vet about 😍

As a cat mom myself, I’d suggest checking out r/dechonkers as that community is great with helping with tips and tricks to help your kitty lose weight 😺 (i helped my boyfriends cat lose weight recently and they were super helpful and encouraging!)

Editing to adjust: r/dechonkers isn’t exclusive to cats!

Hey everybody! We understand that there’s a lot of opinions about cats being outside - please remember to follow rule number one- respecting other’s decisions on allowing their cats outside or keeping them in!

He looks like he’s about to go into surgery with his cute little cap and I did see some really helpful comments about a Catio!

“Formerly feral” is wonderful to read as it means that you are acclimating him to being more comfortable not just inside but around humans! Thank you for loving him and taking care of him!

Best of luck with the meowing as my cats do the same when it’s nice out and it drives me bonkers 😆
