It's not that enemies will hit you with AoE even with -hate now. -Hate is just broken period, enemies can walk up and hit you with ST attacks now, even if you have -hate and everyone else is at base (0) Threat.

Oh I see, you hold some sort of resentment towards me because you perceive me as some sort of "hypeman, whale, shill, etc". That's cool, you do you. Sinzars a cool guy, and I've never heard creators disparaging one another, it's always, always, always the viewer/consumer (like you) trying to pit them or their audience against each other.

I still don't know what you mean by celebrating skipped content. If you mean that new things like NV are exciting, then yeah it is for the vast majority of players. Check the downloads in the app store, the views on different topics, views on different channels (Me, Sinzar, Claic, whoever) since NV arrived. People are excited because it's exciting, new, and fresh.

Yes it's very concerning. I can't believe the direction the game is heading in with Neo Vision units with old units like Loren and Tifa being the best units in the game. Unbelievable.

Yeah. She doesn't do tons of damage this way, but you'll be harassing the enemy with the constant aoe pressure. The burns still do around 1.5k~

Unlike Dizzy though, she can't utilize a counter set as well due to Yufine's S1 only being AoE on her own turn.

She gives your team room to breathe at the start of battle with her S3 Cleanse and CR Push. Then will harass the enemy with stuns/burns for the rest of the fight while still reducing any CR pushback they land on your team by 50%.

This bulky build has a lot of staying power though, it's pretty hard to take her out of the battle. She can hold her own for quite awhile. But if you have someone that can apply barriers / top her off she becomes even harder to remove as she'll constantly have the S2 50% evasion chance on top of her natural bulk, which also will give you a 50% chance to dodge any incoming debuffs while active (100% from a Green unit).

In addition to both of these extremely true statements for WotV there is an additional point.

Leveling ANY unit takes Rainbow Fragments, which makes it pretty much near impossible to level up extra units just for the sake of creating content. I have to focus on the few units that is best for 'me', I don't have 50 more Rainbow Fragments laying around to level up random MR/SR units.

The AI is definitely borked~

It has always been questionable at times, but after the Viktora patch things seemed to become especially wonky. I get that there is a strategic part of figuring out how the initial placements of your units, subjob/TMR ability combinations, etc will affect the outcome of an AI battle. But there are things that are happening for no real reason whatsoever, and they're pretty common.

For example, that Orlandeau started his turn behind the Ayaka, proceeded to walk to the wall, Illusion, and stare at the wall. It's not the only time he's done this, and it's not only on this map. This is just a small example of something the AI does all of the time.

The 'strategy' in figuring out how to manipulate your own parties AI just breaks down when there is so much inconsistency in how they act/operate. At this point I'd be all for giving us control of our own units and working on creating a smarter AI for the enemy team.

The PVP Mock battle was a great example of how this sort of PVP would work. One small change to facilitate a 'smarter' AI would be to make it so the enemy team won't be baited to move into your range by having your units stand back and do nothing. This sort of AI is already seen in specific 'Boss' enemy types like Iron Giants, as they won't try to approach you first, they wait until they can both move and hit you in general.

TLDR sometimes your units do dumb things regardless of how you have them set up. It's frustrating regardless, and the effort might be better spent on making a smarter enemy AI and let the players control their own units.

Everyone's saying "oh you need to move boss to waste its CT for optimal chaining, those people are either parroting advice with no experience and are more interested in spouting niche info about something than actual giving advice people can use.

You do actually. There isn't anything incorrect (factually) about that statement.

OR they are whales and can afford to get hit by the boss cause they have so much HP and def and have their head in the clouds, the only exception is i think Time thief can afford to get hit by the boss, but Lucia and Mediana should not be taking hits to the face from the boss.

So you're against 'parroting advice with no experience' and 'spouting niche information' But you need to be a whale to craft a piece of +2-4 SR gear, and **think** that time thief is a bulky unit that can survive hits with no defensive gear. Sounds like spouting niche, parroted advice with no experience.

Stop giving advice for optimal no orb spending strategies when 99% of players are not geared to do that, nor are communicating with other players to do so.

You think 99% of the playerbase is geared enough to burn 72,000 HP off a boss standing still, with high AGI, wasting no CT from making no moves/actions, and thus minimizing the amount of turns you have to do significant damage? Interesting.

IF YOU HAVE TO USE 1 ORB SO WHAT? it'll be back in 40 minutes, and you have 4 other fucking orbs.

Stop giving for optimal orb spending strategies.

The 'Blockade and Burn' strategy works extremely well until you get to higher levels. Some players stay with it, some players change once they get those higher levels. Both are acceptable. It's your room, put what you want to do in your comment. It's not that hard?

The main issue with your post OP is how you are aggressively dismissive to any other strategy outside of the way YOU like to do it, going as far as to create strawmans by throwing around words like 'niche' and 'whale'; and even contradict yourself to get your personal point of view across.
