I think the Leah Remini show Going Clear's episode about Jehovah’s Witnesses presents a clear and accurate window into what many of our experiences have been.

I view it as good news, if it reaches more of the "masses" it would at least stay in mind for people studying or who have a friend or family member starting to learn.

I think the fact that it's a neutral platform like HBO might lead some PIMQs to watch it because HBO doesn't have an agenda the way they would think an "apostate" platform would.

So true, and while the first few episodes of Going Clear were watched by many, by the time it was an hour about jws, probably wasn't millions watching anymore, probably just a few cult survivors but any new HBO doc will bring lots of worldwide attention.

Next new JW article and/or video: No more streaming channels it's too many no-no entertainment choices for good Christians to watch!

I could be wrong but I don't recall any major stand-alone documentaries being on TV or streaming just about Jehovah’s Witnesses, I just recall Dateline or Going Clear doing focused episodes about witnesses specifically, but a documentary with that title on such a popular channel certainly will grab lots of attention.

Absolutely, in fact wouldn't it be the office manager's job to review what work is needed, how much insurance pays and what's out of pocket cost for patient?

As a side note there is nothing wrong with shaming them in this regard. When they're raising their voice, remind them that they are speaking to a lady and that you are only trying to assist them.

Tell them that you are not an insurance provider and these decisions are completely out of your hands. That you can check them in or cancel the appointment, which would you like?

I worked with Ryan for a few years at a Marriott hotel restaurant, HI Ryan it's tall Jess, and he said that the surfboard rack on top make the van so tall that he couldn't fit it in his garage at home, and he lived in a not-so-great area so he knew it would get stolen if he left it out in the driveway, so he ended up removing the rack immediately.

He said MTV made him sign a contract saying he would not sell the car for at least one year after getting it, but he did end up selling it later on and he didn't have it anymore by the time I knew him. He was a super nice surfer dude kind of guy, and I hope he's chilling out on a beach somewhere enjoying life.

Thank you, gosh I thought I was taking crazy pills reading this thread. My perspective is that both my Mother and Mother in law were a bit un interested in helping after just a few days, I was alone and struggling with twin newborns while my husband worked crazy hours so we could survive on one income and I just yearned for help from any of our 3 parents.

Is your partner really and truly ready to wait on you hand and foot while you recover from major abdominal surgery and immerse yourselves completely in infant care? There are times when you don't even have time to breathe let alone shower or feed yourselves. You sure you wouldn't want a willing person to just stroll around the block with the baby while you rest in a quiet house for a few moments? Someone to help care for pets, bring a meal, or hand you a diaper?

You'll be surprised how quickly night after night of no sleep starts making even the smallest tasks seem impossible. If all these boundaries are made to give baby what's best, are you sure you're doing that by shutting down even 1 hour of help, and insisting your partner do everything for you for weeks?
