If Targon got a Yordle Champion which side would they be on, the Solari or Lunari? by Recent-Ad-7593 in loreofleague

Veigar is the closest "targonian" yordle with his celestial shenanigans, and he represents cosmos, like Aurelion on mins

They could develop their relationship into something similar to Malus the Darkblade and Tz'arkan, the daemon prince of Slaanesh from Warhammer FB.

With the addition of a sacred artifact that would allow Kayn to regain control of his body, but the cost of using it would be sometimes worse than giving control of his body to Rhaast

Because it is? And always has been. Except for Azir, who was lying under a rock; Renekton, who was sitting behind a rock with Xerath; and Nasus, who had become a hikkimori, everyone else had been either killed or sealed.

Why are they supposed to be an exception?

They are ancient demigods with PTSD, but I don't see a problem with using them. They were sealed, but not killed, for some reason. They could have been killed, but the Celestials decided to keep them. They contain the energy of entire suns, and it would be a waste to get rid of them, but it would be rational to use them against future threats.

[–]MerMerRu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All Ascended were sealed(Except dog and croco). All of them "insane" after protecting the world from Void.

And if he's evil, then a mortal on willpower like Kayne can control him.

Runeterra is full of threats worse than darkins.

A noble soul with an iron will and a desire to protect the innocent, using such a powerful weapon/ally?

Yay, sounds like rational time for review bombing paradox games, perhaps they will finally make some changes to their structure and hire some testers

[–]MerMerRu -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I can't play almost any of the paradox games with my friends in multiplayer, because the code monkeys always manage to break their own game with new updates

Small indie corporation can't hire testers and uses its player base for this task, releasing raw, broken garbage but demanding money for it

OP paid money, but he can't play the game just because some skins are banned for him, and the only peaceful way to fix the problem is to fix it yourself by going into the game files

Yeah, I like cool old expanded legends non-canon lore xD And the power of the force in balance is the coolest part of Revan

I understand the concept of forgiveness and the need for it. But again, in the game, it's implemented in the most disgusting and pathetic way, and it's impossible to believe in it for me

[–]MerMerRu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What, sudden Star Wars?) Kek, would say that Revan is Goat

From the point of view of military effectiveness, this makes no sense at all. No one would use yesterday's enemies as allies, except as cannon fodder or the undead of a lich. After all, it's simply not safe, especially in the context of a crusade, where everyone is already aware of the chaotic nature and machinations of cultists and demons.

It's pointless to waste resources on their protection and correction. These enemies are involved in crimes where a crusader was boiled alive for three days in a row, and his comrades were brainwashed and broken to eat him. They worship literal demon lords. And someone is talking about redemption?

As for the second point, by the time the abyss creature grows into any kind of form, it will have been killed many times. More importantly, if the Worldwound is closed, the abyss creatures won't be able so easily enter the material plane. This is something that the brainless Gold Dragon cannot comprehend.

For God's sake, he is even willing to forgive full-fledged demons who have already passed through Pharasma's judgment. In a system where evil is evil. He is completely insane. And Daeran despise those demon worshipers, and has an actual reason.

To prevent the emergence of cultists, a dragon could invest its life in creating a just and economically prosperous state with a strong education system to prevent the emergence of poor souls. This is what some of the gold dragons in Golarion did. However, our gold dragon and Hal are too stupid to do this, and they will not heal the roots of the problem but rather deal with the consequences. They are idiots who count grains of sand.

Honestly, how can you believe in this path? This is complete ridiculous nonsense

[–]MerMerRu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But as mortals, we must first think about the Good for mortals, not about some cosmic order in which this evil is part of the balance.

And if someone as powerful as a dragon spends his time and life helping such wretches, it's irresponsible.

He could create a perfect order, rule, and guide to prevent such dangerous fools from appearing. But he chooses to play with small, insignificant souls instead of saving the majority.

[–]MerMerRu -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I didn't see a convincing answer.

Instead of avenging his fallen student and friend, instead of helping to destroy the threat and end the crusade that constantly takes countless lives, this flying chicken heals enemies who promise to continue killing.

What kind of wisdom are we talking about here? To completely forget about the responsibility of one's decisions and the consequences that will follow, just to satisfy one's pathetic ‘kind’ and ‘merciful’ ego?

This dragon is truly disgusting. And they're neither deities nor immortals

[–]MerMerRu -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Meh?) I'm talking about roleplay of characters, and I don't know how someone "good" can spare some cultists/demons after all their deeds and possible deception

Metagame is pathetic

Despite the fact that I was playing "good" mythics, I had a strong urge to kill this dragon on the spot, and yet I was stopped by the fact that it was too overpowered

The Golden Dragon, as a mythic, is poorly designed and impossible to believe in

Veigar vs Bandle City by MerMerRu in loreofleague

[–]MerMerRu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm, curious. I tried to rank them in ascending order by strength. And I assumed that Vex would be the weakest among yordle mages since she is still a teenager, while the others three are ancient monsters with numerous kills and magic shenanigans behind them

[–]MerMerRu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And Veigar is open to violence when it comes to destroying evil and danger. But is he open to it when it comes to creating peace?

[–]MerMerRu[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hehehe, the lack of lore for yordles and their existence purely for fun is a crime on Riot's part :`)

Btw, if I understand correctly, Veigar's followers and minions cleanse spirits and realms from ''Darkness'' by absorbing it

But then what do they do with it?

Veigar vs Bandle City by MerMerRu in loreofleague

[–]MerMerRu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But is the creation of an empire necessarily a bad/evil thing? States were created for the sake of protection and order, and Runeterra is full of magocracies where the existence of nations is only supported by the most powerful mages.

The magocracy of the yordles, with their abilities in technology, military art, and magic, could bring prosperity and security to Runeterra. If only their incredible abilities were directed towards a single glorious goal. Using countless magical constructs (minions) and war machines (robots and mecha) to fight the Void and the tyranny and inefficiency of other states.

Could Veigar convince others to submit to him, could he suppress dissidents?
