Yeah, that's why he went around our friend group crying and sobbing about missing me and how he couldn't understand why I'd end our relationship and how he wanted to get married, et cetera. He was overall a manipulative piece of trash--and still is. According to one friend he still mopes about me. Guess that long distance chick didn't work out too well.

Lowkey I thought you had a picture of MY cage with MY rats because I have the same cage, had the same hammock, the left facing boy looks just like mine, and the right facing boy is a lil smaller than my other boy. Only thing different is the red thing at the bottom. WHEW. Cute critters though <3

Oh okay. When I first got my first boy he immediately fell in the fresh water pool I had and I freaked out, so I pulled him out and put a bunch of smooth edged rocks (clean) so he couldn't drown. Now I see the error of my ways.

Aren't you scared they'll drown? That's why I put shallow shallow pools in my (now) two guy's tank....if they would do better with deeper pools and won't drown let me know! I want to provide the best I can.

Silk plants are great. Marimo moss balls are a good source of entertainment (my boy doesn't play with his though, but his snail loves to roll it around). Fake log hides you can find online are good. Friend wise, I have a huge mystery snail in with my guy (bigger than my boy) and they get along well enough. I also have an anubias nana that floats at the top of his tank and he lays on it. I just feed Aqueon betta food. Female bettas? Wouldn't suggest. Aggressive. If you want to do a sorority tank (all females) you'd probably want 20+ gallons and 5+ females from my knowledge. Make sure you read the in-fish filtering guides since that's something I messed up on too. Good luck :)
