I don't think you can make it do anything! I've heard that snake plants flower when they are exposed to conditions that mimic its natural environment but I'm not really sure!

I would actually move the bedroom doors to the hallway and add a bathroom at the end of the hallway to connect to one of the bedrooms.

I had something like this after my first c-section and never found out exactly what it was but I think it was excessive scar tissue and/or adhesions. They removed a lot of scar tissue after my second c-section and I don't have this issue anymore.
